| Teenreads.com Reader Survey, Book Club Ideas...and a New Contest |

| Thanks to all of you who already have answered our Teenreads.com Reader Survey! In the past 10 days we have heard from more than 330 of you. If you have not answered yet, please click on the link below and spend 5 minutes telling us how you feel about books and authors. Your replies will be shared at a panel discussion in LA in two weeks, as well as with publishers! If you have replied, please forward the link on to a bookloving friend. We would love to have more than 500 respondents. In case you are still hesitating, let me remind you that we are giving away one $100 Amazon gift certificate and two $25 Amazon.com gift certificates in a random drawing of all poll respondents.
This week we launched a new feature for a program that you will be hearing more about this summer --- Readers Circle. What's there? 18 great titles for book club discussions --- including HOLES, THE GIVER, WHEN ZACHARY BEAVER CAME TO TOWN and THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO LARRY --- along with discussion questions to get you started and terrific ideas on how to start a book club.
Monday, May 19th Teenreads.com will be interviewing some authors from the Reader's Circle program including Lois Lowry, Louis Sachar, Kimberly Willis Holt, Janet Tashjian, Jennifer Armstrong, Adam Bagdasarian and Ruth Pennebaker. If you have a question that you would like to ask one of these authors, please drop me a note by Sunday night at Carol@bookreporter.com. We will run our interview next month.
Also, some of these authors who have books in this program will be touring across the country throughout the summer! For those of you who live in the New York City area the tour kicks off Monday, with all of the authors mentioned above doing a panel discussion at Bank Street Auditorium at 610 W 112th Street at 6:30PM and 8:30PM. We will be there! See the link to the feature below for more details.
This month we also are linking to a new writing contest that is being conducted by an author who has just released a new book. Read on for details on how you could win a prize package worth $150!
Wow. Between these programs and the advance reading promotion we have been running from HarperTempest, it's clear that Teenreads.com is the place to find the book and author information that you are looking for.
Have a great month...it's almost the end of the school year! We're excited about that since it means you'll have more time to spend at Teenreads.com.

| Readers Circle --- Great Books To Read With A Book Club |
What do you do when you're reading a book that is so good --- so provocative -- that you just have to talk to someone about it? Why not do something about it? A book group is a great way to bring friends together to share your love of reading and inspire great conversations.
Wondering what to read? We have found a program called Readers Circle that has 18 books that are perfect choices. No matter what your reading preferences are --- contemporary fiction, humor, mysteries, history, classics --- you'll find a Readers Circle book to suit your taste.
What makes Readers Circle books special is that there's a Reader's Guide in every book (we also have them online for you right here at Teenreads.com). Perfect for book groups, this guide provides intriguing discussion questions, revealing author interviews, in-depth author biographies, insight into the writing process and recommendations for further reading.
Four new titles were added this month!
