Sonya
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
Very good book, although the ending just quite didn't do it for me. I really can't see this book being made into film like TWILIGHT.

Emmaline
Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports by James Patterson
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the third book in the Maximum Ride series. It's ok,but I don't think that it was the best one so far.

Emmaline
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was not as good as the other one. It would have been better if she had kept it in Bella's point of view.

Emmaline
Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith
Rating: 4 Stars
It's for fans of the Twilight series (if you don't like that book series don't read it).

Melinda
Devilish by Maureen Johnson
Rating: 5 Stars
Funny, witty, and smart. I adore all of Johnson's books. =)

Morgan
Born Standing Up by Steve Martin
Rating: 3 Stars
This is an autobiography by Steve Martin. It focuses a lot on his career, and that's about it. It's a pretty easy read, but I wouldn't tell you to go out and buy it now to read. It's not a favorite, but I've read worse.

Kelly
Bloom by Elizabeth Scott
Rating: 5 Stars
This was an amazing book! The storyline was great and Scott's writing style really made it enjoyable to read. I couldn't put the book down!

Kelly
The Luxe by Anne Godbersen
Rating: 4 Stars
At first, this story seemed really slow and the all the characters sometimes confused me. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep reading it or just set it aside... Well, you guessed it and I kept reading! And it was totally worth it! It turned out to be a really good book and I can't wait to read RUMORS!

Suveda
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is an awesome end to the Twilight Saga. Everyone should read it --- it's so hard to put down!

Rosie
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Rating: 5 Stars
This was one of the best books I've read and I have read a lot of books! I was really impressed by the story and it was a book that I could not put down. It was so good.

Nikki
The Clique Summer Collection: Kristen by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 5 Stars
I love the way the book shows what Kristen is like when Massie is not around.

Sarah
Defying the Diva by D. Anne Love
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was about bullying and harassment between girls, but I think boys would benefit from reading this too. The author's message was great and really helped me realize to not let people walk all over me. I think every girl should read this book.

Tracey
Outside Beauty by Cynthia Kadahota
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was very clever, intelligent and somewhat sad. This book really proved to me that inside beauty is just important as the outside. I think this subject is especially important now when the media shows that attractiveness is so important.

Rebekah
Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Myers
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the final book in the Twilight Saga.

Diana
Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Rating: 5 Stars
Great summer read!!

Lisa R.
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is everything you want it to be to end the Twilight Saga. It will keep you reading all day. I loved it and advise everyone to read it!

Rowan
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
Rating: 4 Stars
Nobody Owens (also known as "Bod") has ghosts as foster parents, a werewolf as a teacher, and a witch as a friend; to him, the graveyard dwellers are the closest thing he has to a family.

What I love about Gaiman's writing style is that it's always so authentic and natural. Each chapter is filled with suspense, creativity, and most important of all, clever wit. This is what I call a page turner.

Sammi
Losing It by Lizzie Wilcock
Rating: 5 Stars
For Lizzie's first book, it is amazing. It is a brilliant book for teens covering all the aspects of growing up. The main character is 14-year-old Gabbie Martyn, who has a perfect family. She has her ideal best friend, gets good grades and never does anything wrong... until her life is turned upside down. When reading this book, you really feel like you are part of Gabbie's life. You cannot put it down.

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
The fourth, and final, book in the Twilight saga was great. It had me guessing at what would happen next through a good majority of it and, of course, intricate characters!

Kristen
Pay it Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde
Rating: 5 Stars
I originally read this book because I loved the Pay it Forward movie, but I didn't expect there to be so many differences between the two! Although the book was spectacular, I still found the movie to be more emotional and meaningful. However, it was still truly inspirational.

Emily
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was everything that I thought it would be. It was amazing and I look forward to re-reading it many times,

~love2luv~
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 5 Stars
I was a little apprehensive about the book at first, but after the first chapter, I was hooked! It is such a creative point of view for the afterlife. I also like the way it was written --- it wasn't like other books I had read, I really liked the change! The characters were hilarious too! And yet, you could relate to them too. It definitely deserves 5 stars!

TheBookworm
The Battle for Skandia by John Flanagan
Rating: 5 Stars
THE BATTLE OF SKANDIA, Book 4 in the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan was an amazing new addition to the series.

The last thing you want to call Will and Evanlyn's predicament is an adventure, but how else would you describe it? When Evanlyn disappears, Will realizes something is amiss and looks for her. After following her capturer's trail, he arrives at their campsite in a very weakened state. Though Will's courage and bravery are strong, he knows that he by himself could never rescue her. But it turns out he isn't alone. In the nick of time, Halt and Horace also reach the campsite following the same trail as Will did. After the initial joy of being together again, matters at hand trouble them. Why are the Temujai here? What is their purpose for coming this far north?

The smooth, easy-to-read, and flowing style of author John Flanagan clearly shines in this book, and the whole Ranger's Apprentice series.

The author's uncanny ability to judge which scenes should be included and explored in detail is totally stunning. His knowledgeable decisions do nothing but the utmost good for the book.

I would recommend this to everyone of all ages, especially to Robin Hood and Stephen R. Lawhead fans.

Laura
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book! It sorta reminds me of the Harry Potter books, but with a more girly twist, lol.

Tigist
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
It was the best book I have ever read in my life! And I have read a lot of books!

Mia
This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 4 Stars
Sarah Dessen is a brilliant writer and
I love her books. This one is really good --- it's a bit slow at the beginning and hard to get into, but it's hard to put down near the end. It's definitely worth the read.

James
The Rook by Steven James
Rating: 5 Stars
A really interesting series. Very intense.

KC
Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Rating: 4 Stars
I love this book! It seemed very realistic, and had its moments of humor in between the suffering. Susan Beth Pfeffer is one of my favorite YA authors.

Alana
Shortie Like Mine by Ni-Ni Simone
Rating: 5 Stars
This was an incredible book! I read the whole thing in one sitting, because I really could connect with the main character, Seven. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Kaylen
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 2 Stars
While the last book in the Twilight Saga gave us more information and cleared up some misunderstandings, it wasn't what many hoped it would be. The first two parts of the book were okay, but I found the last part to be something a fan-fiction writer would write about TWILIGHT. I also think that if you read fan fiction, you'll have a different reaction to the book than if you don't, because a lot of the things that happen have happened in fan fiction stories before --- some of which even were being dismissed as way too fantastical.

Read this book if you want to finish the series (I didn't say it was a bad fan fiction-like book) and want some answers, but this book is definitely not a reason to start reading the series.

The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches #2 by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the second book in the Keeper Martin's Tales series, and it is mainly about a human girl who is trying to save her dying land, and of a tough-as-nails elf who is seeking aid for his people.

Lori
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm only on page 177, but it's the best title in the series yet...

alixOxO
Ancestors by Frank Ching
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is really beautiful and well written. Frank Ching tells his family's stories going back 900 years in time.

I recommend anyone who likes to dig down deep in the past to read this book. A fantastic read.

Pat
The Kingdoms and the Elves Of the Reaches #4 by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
Awesome, I'm loving it. it's even better than the first three, which were amazing reads.

Jess
Crank by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
It was a very moving novel written in free verse about a teen girl struggling with drugs and love. I just couldn't put the book down. I definitely recommend this book.

TheBookworm
The Big Game of Everything by Chris Lynch
Rating: 3 Stars
THE BIG GAME OF EVERYTHING by Chris Lynch was an interesting, confusing book.

Jock is having the perfect summer. He and his younger but bigger brother, Egon, are practically running their grandfather's golf club. His sister is never around because she is off somewhere with her boyfriend. His freak parents are as happy and joyful as ever. Grampus is finishing up the fourteenth hole. And then... his divorced grandmother comes to town. The heat and stress levels build to breaking point. Old emotions burn and new emotions spark. Jock begins to understand that the loser in the big game of everything gets walked on, and to be a winner you have to stand up for want you believe.

The layout of the book was a little confusing. The first few pages were very confusing. I could not figure out who was saying what.

I believe the main character Union Jack, aka Onion Jock, was a very realistic and smart person. Jock was smart, sarcastic, knew right from wrong, witty, caring, and everything else you would want in a good person. The main reason for why I kept reading the book and to finish it was, just because I wanted to know what Jock would do and what would happen to him.

THE BIG GAME OF EVERYTHING was a little confusing, but good, because of its characters.

Kimiko
The Boxer and the Spy by Robert B. Parker
Rating: 3 Stars
I found out about this book from this website. It sounded really interesting, so I decided to check the book out. I thought it was a great book. I finished reading it in less than a day.

Linda
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Stephenie Meyer has already established a name for herself as the author of the critically acclaimed Twilight series. Personally, I liked the Twilight books but I feel that it's slightly overrated. THE HOST is a fresh look at Science Fiction and does not involve typical UFOs and the like. Though it was published as an adult book, there is nothing profane.

Taz
Temping Fate by Esther Friesner
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. It's got a good main character, a cute boy she likes (who's also interesting), Greek mythology, magic and it's really funny.

Fiona
Boy Toy by Barry Lyga
Rating: 5 Stars
BOY TOY offers a disturbing look into the destructive ramifications of a teacher-student relationship that crosses the line. The journey of the protagonist, who is sexually abused by his teacher when he was twelve, is a difficult one as he tries to overcome the memories and "flickers" that haunt him from that experience. As he tries to come to terms with what happened and attempts to lead a normal life again, readers will be riveted by the discoveries he makes about others, and about himself.

TeenReadingTeacher
Three Little Words by Ashley Rhodes-Courter
Rating: 4 Stars
Eye-opening memoir of life in the foster system in the United States. For anyone who has ever been in foster care, has friends who are foster children, or works with children, this is an excellent read to help us understand just a little about what life may be like for a foster child. You'll sympathize with Ashley's situation and hope with her as she discovers there is a better place for some. This is a story of triumph of the human spirit which may stir you to try and make the world a better place for even just one child. If you have a loving family, be sure they know how glad you are that they care about you after reading this book.

Catherine
The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho
Rating: 4 Stars
Paulo Coelho is a world-renowned author and you can totally see why in this book. It's about lessons that you can learn in life and ways to experience it to the fullest.

Lauren
Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. Sarah Dessen has such great books, and she has really out done herself.

A girl named Scarlett is pregnant with her dead boyfriend's baby...and she's only sixteen. For once in her life, she needs her best friend's help. This is a wonderful story that is always a good read, no matter how many times I read it.

The book was also combined with another book by Sarah Dessen (THAT SUMMER) and made into a movie. The movie is called How To Deal, which I have also watched.

I recommend this to anyone who has a whole day on their hands, because you will not want to put it down.

Rachel
Airhead by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a light, fun book. I really enjoyed Emerson's personality.

Casie
True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet by Lola Douglas
Rating: 4 Stars
I absolutely love it! It's about an actress forced to go out in the middle of nowhere to recover from her recent addictions. She starts off wanting to get the school year over with asap, but ends with a change of heart.

John
The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman
Rating: 5 Stars
Amazing! It's an adventure that cannot be put down.

Brittany
Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is about a girl who gets caught up in a war between two worlds --- the one that everyone can see, and the one that only she and her Grams can. It's great and a lot better than I'd be able to make it sound.

Sarahh
Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book so much. My friend told me to read it because she said I was like Stargirl in a way. It still has an affect on me to this day, and I read it about one month ago!

amalyabodalia
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
i like the mood it sets me in and the power it holds.

Jackie
Found by Margeret Peterson Haddix
Rating: 4 Stars
I just finished this first installment of a new series by Margeret Peterson Haddix. I am a fan of hers because of her bigger-than-life imagination. This book has a lot to do with time travel, and jumps around the past and the future. The story was a little too "out there" for me sometimes, but it was a nice, easy read.

Lauren
A Certain Slant Of Light by Laura Whitcomb
Rating: 4 Stars
It takes a little bit to get into this book, but after that, you are swept off your feet, especially knowing that this is the author's very first novel. It's astounding. I don't usually like books like that, but I found I couldn't put it down!

Ali
Stop In the Name of Pants by Louise Rennison
Rating: 5 Stars
Fabbity-fab 9th book to the always enjoyable Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series!

TheBookworm
Likely Story by David Van Etten
Rating: 2 Stars
LIKELY STORY, Book One by David Van Etten, was unfortunately a disappointment.

Mallory is the daughter of an openly affectionate mother. She is her boyfriend’s only girlfriend. She is surrounded by tons of close friends. And she has absolutely nothing to do with the unrealistic soap opera, "Good as Gold." Well, only in her dreams. Actually she has a selfish-to-the-core Soap Opera actress for a mother. Her “boyfriend” is in another relationship than just theirs. Mallory is close to being anti-social. And, she practically grew up on the "Good as Gold" set.

To blow steam, Mallory keeps a blog. After one practically nasty fight with her mom, she vents on her blog about how unrealistic soap operas are. Little did she know that her mother’s agent would read it. Before she knows it, she is typing out a bible for a possible soap opera she accidentally created. They it so much they decide that her show, "Likely Story", would be an interesting new addition to their network. But will Mallory be able to handle a stressful job and her even more stressful home life?

I really like the idea of the book --- a teen girl turns her experiences and thoughts into a show with real people viewing it. The skeleton or basic plot of the story was good. The fights with her mother, boy problems, and trust issues with friends are all realistic and added a lot of drama and plot buildup.

But I was greatly disappointed with the overall picture. Each chapter had improper matters in it. Sex and homosexuality were brought up way to often. It shouldn’t have been added at all. It didn’t add anything and I don’t believe 14 years olds like me should be reading a book like that. There is no way that I would suggest this book to my siblings or friends.

Just because sex and homosexuality are brought up a lot in these modern times, doesn’t mean its right. Would the book have been bad or worse without these improper matters? Definitely not. Would LIKELY STORY have been better without the improper matters? Absolutely.

LIKELY STORY's basic plot was good, but it was taken over by unneeded additions that overpowered the good.

Myriam
The Tilight series by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I love the series because it's so full of mystery and passion. I have been dying for her last book, BREAKING DAWN, to come out because these books are addictive.
I have never loved a book as much as I do these.

Liz
The Invisible by Mats Wahl
Rating: 4 Stars
I originally saw the movie first and was surprised by how different the book and movie were. Now that I have finished reading, I think the book was better. =)

Nina Duong
How to Be Bad by Lauren Myracle, E. Lockhart, and Sarah Mlynowski
Rating: 4 Stars
HOW TO BE BAD is about three girls with different personalities going on a road trip to Florida. I thought this was a great book, because many things happened in this single trip and most of all, three girls find the courage to face their biggest fears (confronting or keeping their mouths shut). Though not all three find love immediately at the end of the book, you get the feeling that if there were a sequel, it would depict all three girls with boyfriends who are envied by all.

Jess
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 4 Stars
It was written so well!! The characters were so moving. It's a great book but quite sad.

Sophia
Fearless by Tim Lott
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was a little slow at first, but then the story got moving. The characters were very inspirational and I like how they get through their obstacles.

Haters by Alisa Valdés-Rodríguez
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about Paski's move to a new high school, where all the kids are snotty and drive fancy cars. She has a vision that someone gets hurt and she tries to stop it from coming true.

It was a a very good book. I couldn't put it down and I read it in one night :)
