Rating: 5 Stars
The first gripper in the Harry Potterseries follows Harry as he discovers that he has a life besides that of his unloving uncle and aunt, and their son. Harry learns that he has magical powers, and that he is, in fact, a wizard. A marvelous read!

Juwairia

The second book in the Everworld series, LAND OF LOSS continues the story of the four teenagers stuck in a parallel universe, searching for the witch, Senna. An interesting book!

Juwairia
Being by Kevin Brooks
Rating: 4 Stars
A story about a teenager named Robert, who one day finds out about a strange device inside his stomach while going for an endoscopy. He discovers that there are some people trying to find him, to apparently kill him, and he flees in order to escape. He doesn't know why the men are behind him, but only that they are evil, and with the help of another fugitive girl, they try and outrun these people. An amazing book!

Juwairia
Sweep by Cate Tiernan
Rating: 5 Stars
A fantastic series about Morgan, a normal teenage girl who one day discovers that she has magical abilities. A very believable tale, and completely engrossing till the very end!

Juwairia
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
The story of four teenage best friends and their first summer apart since they were born. Follow along as they discover a pair of magical jeans that can surprisingly fit them all, despite their very different sizes. The girls use these jeans as a way to keep together over their first separate summers. A beautiful, yet also sad, tale at parts.

Juwairia
The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
This second book in the series brings you the second summer the four best friends spend apart. Discover each girl's individual, yet strangely entwined, story as they attempt to cope without one another and with the things they faced in the first book.

Juwairia
Girls in Pants by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
The third installment in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants brings you the girls' third summer spent mostly apart. In this heartwarming, and sometimes sad story, everyone can find something to identify with.

Juwairia
Enter the Enchanted by K. A. Applegate
Rating: 3 Stars
The third in the Everworld series, ENTER THE ENCHANTED continues the ever-growing hectic story of a few teenagers stuck in an alternate universe. When they fall asleep in this universe that defies all laws of everything they have grown up to know (eg. gravity and the existence of fairytale creatures like Merlin, Loki, elves, and Sir Galahad), they find themselves back in their real universe. A good book, but maybe not for all. Try it out!

Juwairia
Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 3 Stars
I' just starting this, and so far, it seems like a pretty good read! Scott Westerfeld is an amazing author, and he did an especially amazing job with his Uglies trilogy, so it's sure to be an interesting book!

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
Second in this world-renowned series comes CHAMBER OF SECRETS, in which Harry's second year at wizarding school is filled with rumors and the possible existence of a certain chamber. Be sure to read!

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
Who is Sirius Black? Why is the entire wizarding world searching for him and what does his escape from the Azkaban Prison mean to Harry's safety? The third installment in the Harry Potter series brings on an amazing new twist, and an ending you never could have guessed!

Juwairia
The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke
Rating: 5 Stars
One of my most favourite novels, THE THIEF LORD is a heartwarming tale of two orphaned brothers left in the custody of an unloving aunt who wants to separate them. Together, they flee to Venice, where they meet a group of poor children all living together, stealing to survive. A marvelous book; be certain to read!

Juwairia
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Rating: 4 Stars
A story about a completely unrecognizable world, in which family isn't really family and life isn't what it seems. There is no such thing as colour or rain or snow or choosing your own job. Everything is decided for you. To keep a status quo, everything is kept the same for everybody, and the only existence of a regular world in which things like love or war exist, are passed on in memories from the Giver to the Receiver. Can't recommend it enough --- be absolutely SURE to try!

Juwairia
Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry
Rating: 4 Stars
A lot like THE GIVER, GATHERING BLUE is about Kira, a girl whose mother dies. Kira is handicapped, and in her world, there is no room for handicaps. She is living under the constant fear of being killed due to her deformity, until she discovers one day that her special talent of weaving intricate images is required by the "government." An amazing story!

Juwairia
The Messenger by Lois Lowry
Rating: 3 Stars
Not as good as the first two, yet still a recommended read, THE MESSENGER is the third in the sort-of-series. I don't personally consider it as real series because each books consists of a new world. However, in this last novel, Kira returns and it is very much implied that a certain character is back from THE GIVER. A fun read!

Juwairia
Things Not Seen by Andrew Clements
Rating: 4 Stars
A story about a teenager named Bobby who happens to turn invisible one night. A very believable story, it continues on to show us what life for Bobby now means. When he meets a blind girl and befriends her, Bobby's life takes on a whole new twist. A really good read; check it out!

Juwairia
Forever in Blue by Ann Brashares
Rating: 3 Stars
The final book in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, FOREVER IN BLUE tells the story of the four girls' first year at separate colleges. Each tries to cope with things like family, friends, school, and many more things as they all grow up in their own ways. Though truly heartwarming at times, FOREVER IN BLUE is not my favorite of the series, though it worked hard to finalize everything and produced a good enough conclusion.

Juwairia
Discover the Destroyer by K. A. Applegate
Rating: 3 Stars
Book 5 in the Everworld series, DISCOVER THE DESTROYER adds yet another adventure to the engrossing series!

Juwairia
Realm of the Reaper by K. A. Applegate
Rating: 3 Stars
Fourth in the Everworld series comes REALM OF THE REAPER. Like the books before it and after it, this also has the appearance of yet another new, crazy, previously-only-imagined-as-fairytale-and-unreal character. Funny and engrossing; be sure to try!

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
Book four of the Harry Potter series brings the evil wizard Voldemort's fourth attempt to get rid of Harry. The first book in which he actually retains some sort of human form, THE GOBLET OF FIRE brings us mere muggles the chills of the wizarding world.

Juwairia
Fear the Fantastic by K. A. Applegate
Rating: 3 Stars
The sixth Everworld book adds another major character and plot to the series. A good book if you like science fiction novels!

Juwairia
Gateway to the Gods by K. A. Applegate
Rating: 3 Stars
As part of the Everworld series, Book 7, GATEWAY TO THE GODS is the first novel in the second half of the series. Quite interesting if you enjoy sci-fi and fantasy!

Juwairia
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a story about Ender and life in a strange, very technological world. Follow along as Ender attempts to beat the "buggers," whom the world believes to be evil. I had to read this for school, and it actually turned out to be an okay book!

Juwairia
Me and the Blondes by Teresa Toten
Rating: 4 Stars
This comedy of a book is about a girl named Sophie whose father is in prison for something he didn't do. Sophie is constantly changing schools, and each time, she tries to start off with a new slate. But somehow, someone always finds out about her father, and her new life she worked so hard to make collapses in front of her eyes. In this book, Sophie decides she's had enough and is going to stick with the school's blondes, whom she believes have the power. Guaranteed to be a good read!

Lula
I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader by Kearan Scott
Rating: 4 Stars
When Annisa qets to her new school, she notices everyone is blonde. That is, except one person. When Annisa tries out for the cheerleading squad, her brunette friend is not happy. Will everything work out with her friend? A great book!

Juwairia
I am the Wallpaper by Mark Peter Hughes
Rating: 3 Stars
This is a story about Floey Packer, and how she deals with her two annoying cousins who are staying over at her place for a few weeks. One of them even posts up her diary entries onto the internet, and she is completely ashamed when she finds out half her school has read them. Follow along as she tries to come up with ways to get back at her enemies.

Juwairia
Better than Blonde by Teresa Toten
Rating: 4 Stars
The sequel to ME AND THE BLONDES, BETTER THAN BLONDE is a hilarious book dealing with Sophie's life after her father is finally released from prison. Sophie now has to make up an excuse for the man living in her house, since she told everyone that her father was dead. An engaging book; be sure to read it!

Juwairia
Hit the Road by Caroline B. Cooney
Rating: 2 Stars
An okay book about a girl stuck with her grandmother and her friends while her parents are out of town. She has to drive the ladies around and not get caught by the police. It's not the most interesting book, but it's still okay.

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
This fifth book in the world's favorite series is sure to keep you on your toes. Previously, this was my favorite of the series, until I read HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, which is too good for words.

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
This sixth installment in the Harry Potter series is yet another amazing story revolving mainly around Harry's Potions textbook. =)

Juwairia
Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare
Rating: 3 Stars
A lot like She's the Man, a recent movie. TWELFTH NIGHT is about a girl pretending to be a guy, and the complications that it creates. Things are only beginning to get mixed up, however, when the girl's twin brother shows up, and now there's two of them. An interesting play; be sure to read it!

Sommyyah
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the book that revealed it all and explained every unexplained thing in the previous books.

Kiye
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
An amazing book that's full of vampires, werewolves, love, loss, cliff diving, a rusty old truck, and an accident-prone girl in a wonderfully written story that will leave everyone wanting more.

Kiye
The Merlin Conspiracy by Diana Wynne Jones
Rating: 4 Stars
A great book that weaves mystery, intrigue, and magic into a complex plot that's full of twists and surprises. It's truly a great read!

Violet
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This series is incredibly addicting! I could read it over and over without getting tired of it. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can't wait to read ECLIPSE! I don't want this series to end because it's so interesting. Bella reminded me of me, at times, in the series. I hope they make a movie out of this and that Stephenie Meyer writes more books to this series.

Jessica
Double Idenity by Margret Peterson Haddix
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the coolest book ever, you should read it.

Elvie
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Both TWILIGHT and NEW MOON are amazing books. I couldn't put them down. I'd be reading them in class and til' 3:00 in the morning. They just pulled me into this magical story that somehow I can relate to, excluding the mythical creatures. I am now on the hunt for ECLIPSE and waiting for the next two in the series to arrive. NEW MOON is fIlled with suspense and causes you to feel the emotions that Bella is going through.

Angela
In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 5 Stars
Taking you from the present to glimpses of the past and back again, IN THE FORESTS OF THE NIGHT is a wonderfully written book that captures your attention and makes you sympathize with the narrator. Written in first person, it describes an intricate world of vampires and witches and will leave you wanting more.

Alex
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
The best book I've ever read.

Kathryn
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
It blends romance with fiction and action.

Ashleigh
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
I have been hooked on the Twilight series from day one. Stephenie is a phenomenal writer. ECLIPSE, in my opinion, isn't as good as TWILIGHT, but is better than NEW MOON. I find myself getting bored and irritated with Jacob's juvenile behavior, but that's probably just me! ECLIPSE is definitely worth reading over and over again.

Alexa
Whirligig by Paul Fleishman
Rating: 3 Stars
This is the kind of book that isn't for everyone. Some people will get a lot out of it and will gain a new outlook on life from reading it, and others won't see it as that. Nevertheless, Paul Fleishman has done an amazing job and I would definitely recommend everyone to give WHIRLIGIG a shot. NOTE: Parts of this book have scenes that take place in the future, so do your best to keep up with it. It is probably best if you go back and read it again.

Juwairia
Specials by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 4 Stars
The last in this truly fascinating series, SPECIALS brings you everything you've been wondering after reading PRETTIES. Tally has now been turned into a cruel "special," and is now ironically out to pursue the Smokies and get rid of them. A marvelous story that will keep you thirsty for more!

Juwairia
The Unseen Series by Richie Tankersley Cusick
Rating: 4 Stars
When I was reading these books, which are a series of four, I was mesmerized by the storylines and the way they draws you in completely. If there's any book that had the most unexpected events, it has to be this one. Though it can throw you completely off track, it does so in a very satisfying manner, and you will not be disappointed. The last book doesn't answer all questions and can even be very confusing, but other than that, this is a pretty exciting series!

Aaron N.
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a great book about a teen's struggle through high school years

Alexa
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 4 Stars
Although this book is on the shorter side, you will fall in love with every page and want more. The main character, Melinda, was raped at a party, so she called the cops. No one knew she was assaulted, so the entire student body is mad at her for calling the police. Although you will become frustrated at times with some of Melinda's choices, you will bond with this character and always want the best for her. The book is easily read and really lets you enter the mind of Melinda through its witty narration. If you want to read a good story about an amazing healing process, this is the book for you. P.S. --- SPEAK has been made into a movie, so when your done with the book, make sure to watch it!

Ciera
Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of my top 5 favorite books! The cover is kind of scary, but it is not a scary vampire book! Anyone, especially TWIIGHT fans, will like this book!

Melanie
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is so awesome, you have to read. It has action, romance, and a lot more!!

Kim
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
The love that was portrayed in this book was not only of the romantic kind, but of the kind that involves family and how it affects everyone in your surroundings. The main character takes the reader on a journey of pain due to her losses, but in the end, one of true happiness. She learns about her true self and gains a lot more than what she has bargained for. I love this book, and I sure can't wait to read Sarah Dessen's other creations.

Whitney
Blade Silver: Color Me Scarred by Melody Carlson
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a really good book. I love all of the True Colors series books, which are all really great.

Virginia
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I've read it 5 times in the past year and a half, and I still don't think I will ever get tired or it.

Whitney
New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a great sequel! Highly recommended for anyone who's read TWILIGHT :]

JED
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 4 Stars
I read about 55 books a year, so they have to be really great to get a good recommendation from me. This book makes you think twice about your opinions on school violence and who is really responsible for such events. This book is told from the points of view of the teen, the teacher, the parent, the lawyer and the judge. This book had a shocking surprise ending that I didn't expect. All of Jodi Picoult's novels are very good, but sometimes aren't appropriate for readers younger than 15.

Roguelm
l8r g8r by Lauren Myracle
Rating: 5 Stars
A really good book.

Natasha
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is an incredible and an extraordinary book! it actually inspires people to read, and is definitely in my top 5 favorites. its has a lot of cute moments. Two thumbs up!

Brooke
Turnabout by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of my favorite books, if not my favorite. I have read it three times now. It's about two old ladies who are ready to die. They sign a contract to allow their bodies to be used for science, and they get injected with PT-1. The experiment is called Turnabout, which reverses/stops the aging process. It turns out to be deadly. They run for there lives and get themselves entangled in the adventure of there lives, or second lives.

Michelle
The Will of the Empress by Tamora Pierce
Rating: 5 Stars
Wow! A spectactular way to bring these four characters back together! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Morgan
The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
Rating: 4 Stars
An old man dies trying to save a girl. When he gets to heaven, he meets 5 people whose lives he changed during the course of his. He didn't even know if he saved the girl, but he learns how any action, no matter how small, can change the course of someone's life.

Morgan
Stranger With My Face by Lois Duncan
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about a girl who has always believed that she is her parents' daughter. But then she sees a girl who looks exactly like her, but isn't really there. It's almost as if she comes out of her body. So, she then tries to steal her twin's body so her twin will die.

Morgan
Ransom by Lois Duncan
Rating: 5 Stars
A few kids get kidnapped on the bus. The kidnappers are asking for ransom but aren't getting it. I love this author, so read this book!!!

Morgan

Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about these kids who kidnap their teacher and try to scare him, but end up killing him.

Morgan
The Third Eye by Lois Duncan
Rating: 5 Stars
This is sort of a mystery/suspense book. This girl has premonitions and has to solve a mystery. Who knows what will happen in the process?

Morgan
The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Anne Brashares
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the second book in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. It is just as good as the first!

Morgan
Tithe by Holly Black
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is "a modern faerie tale." It's about this girl who can talk with faeries, but people think they're imaginary. Then, her friend sees them too and they both are dragged into a big mess.

Morgan
Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli
Rating: 3 Stars
This book is OK. It's about this girl who was home schooled and then goes to a public school. She is very strange and likes to sing Happy Birthday to complete strangers. There's not a ton of action, but it is still an OK book.

Morgan
So B. It by Sarah Weeks
Rating: 2 Stars
This book is not very good, but it's better than some I've read. If you want an action-packed book, then don't read this one.

Katherine
In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 5 Stars
I think Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is a great author and I love her books. This one is great, but my favorite is SHATTERED MIRROR. She makes vampires seem almost human as she lets you see their pain.

Lyanna
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Oh my god, so good!! I read my friend's copy so now I want my own!

Morgan
Frozen Rodeo by Catherine Clark
Rating: 3 Stars
This book was okay. There is this girl who takes French lessons, but the teacher is never there. She also works at a gas station that gets robbed and does some crazy things with her friends.

Maddie
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
i loved the first 2 books in this series and I can't wait to read the 3rd. The romance and suspense in these books are awesome, I love TWILIGHT!

Book Girl
Love, Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli
Rating: 5 Stars
It was one of the best books I have ever read. It made me want to wake up early to watch the sunset every morning for the rest of my life. Star Girl continues to inspire me as I continue my journey to find things and places special to me.

Danielle
A Rose for Melinda by Lurlene McDaniel
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing. i cried at the end. It just really makes you think about life and how we sometimes regret what//who we have.

Roxy
Fourth Comings by Megan McCafferty
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book (the fourth and final [???] installment of the Jessica Darling series)! Jessica Darling only gets better with time: the book was an exciting journey through a one-week period when Jessica finally decides whether or not she will marry Marcus...and join their lives forever in a very interesting mix of lifestyles. This book hi-larious and has a 'freshly-out-of-college' feeling that resonates with the character's actual living situation. It had an unexpected ending, so if you like books that break the rules, this is one to read.

Faith
All I Want Is Everything by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 4 Stars
I really like this book. It's cool and it just perfectly describes the way some teens act if they were rich. But Gossip Girl is crazy, trying to get every inch of gossip she can.

Susie
The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler
Rating: 4 Stars
I thought this was a pretty good book. When i first picked it up at the book store, I thought it was going to be a cheesy teen book, but I was wrong. it had a nice message and it was a page turner. I would recommend this book to many of my friends.

Addie
Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber
Rating: 5 Stars
A great read for vampire fans.

Allison Walnut
Sk8er Boy by Mari Mancusi

It was a good book, better than I thought it was going to be. She wrote the book so that it would not be hard to visualize or relate to.

Mary
Perfect by Sarah Shepard
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the third book in the Pretty Little Liars series, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. It is full of mystery and intrigue as the girls of Rosewood start to figure out the truth behind the murder of one of their best friends!

Stephanie W.
Nature of Jade by Deb Caletti

Caletti has brought plot context to another level. The story of Jade DeLuna and her love for watching elephants and that of a young, unwed father keeps the reader occupied and satisfied.

Kayla

This book is full of drama, horror and friendship. It is a fun book to read during the day but is even better at night!

Catherine Deeter
Mystic and Rider by Sharon Shinn
Rating: 5 Stars
This is an awesome book about prejudice and friendship amidst strife. If you are interested in fantasy, you will especially like this book. It is well written with believable characters, a setting you can imagine living in, and a plot that will allow for a long series.

Tiffany Ridenour
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so good. It, along with TWILIGHT, is one of the best books I've read in my whole life. I couldn't stop reading them and actually had to hide them from myself because they were so addicting. I can't wait to get my hands on ECLIPSE.

Amanda
Confessions of a Teen Nanny by Victoria Ashton
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was good! it was VERY short. I don't even think it was 200 pages! The summary of the book is kinda wrong. The little girl she babysits isn't very bad, it is more the mom she works for! They made a sequel too! I would read it if I were you!

Raychel O.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
A gripping book filled with action, hatred, and secret love. With new surprises around every corner, it keeps you wondering whether Harry's going to live or die.

Kim
Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Rating: 5 Stars
This book makes a good moral point. It's like the good vs evil theme, but it has the underlining meaning that every person always has good side in them. I also wish that I had a Seth in my life just like the main character, Aislinn.

Raychel O.
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars

Raychel O.

Jacqueline
G is for Gumshoe by Sue Grafton
Rating: 4 Stars
All of the alphabet books so far have been very good. This one is just as intriguing. Instead of just having one major plot, it has two that constantly keep you guessing as to what's going to happen. I highly recommend this book, along with the rest of the alphabet series.

Rating: 5 Stars
Sound soothes the soul. Well, for Nick and Norah it does. Nick is a deep lyrical genius who has recently been dumped by his true love. Norah is the daughter of a record-deal god. She has a lame fashion sense and a broken heart. Both meet under weird circumstances. If you adore love stories with Punk music, booing the Man, and starry night walks, then this book is for you. How to Take the Ex Out of Ex-Boyfriend by Janette Rallison
Rating: 4 Stars
I requested this book for my daughter because it looked like a teen chick lit book, but when I was stuck in my car waiting for her in a thunderstorm with nothing to read, I got hooked. It was a funny, easy read but by no means was it mindless entertainment. My daughter was not happy that I "stole" it since I wouldn't give it back until I finished.

Private by Kate Brian
Rating: 5 Stars
This series may look like just another set of girly books about rich, spoiled teens, but it is so much more. There is mystery, suspense, major drama, and romance. I bought the first one and finished it in a couple of hours, and then went back to the book store the next day to buy the other 3. Make sure you start reading on a day when you have nothing to do because you will not want to put them down.

Double or Die by Charlie Higson
Rating: 4 Stars
this book was the 3rd in the Young Bond series, and is set in the 30s before James Bond became a adult hero, speculating on his early years. The beginning is a bit slow to introduce the reader to all complex ideas, breaking them up on cryptic crosswords and clues. The main story is about a teacher at James's school who goes missing. Also, a letter arrives and evidently doesn't make sense. He, being a natural superhero, runs to the aid and tries solving the clues in the letter with his clue-solving mates. It's packed with some suspense and a lot of action, making it made a great summer holiday read!!

MaDoRi
By These Ten Bones by Clare B. Dunkle
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is rather slow paced, but it's an amazing story that will keep you going! It's set in times where everyone is obsessed with witchcraft, or, should I say obsessed with being afraid of it. Follow the path of the lead character, a teenage girl who falls in love with a mute woodcarver. She is told he doesn't talk because he doesn't need to --- a carver carves, he doesn't speak. The girl falls in love with Carver, which is what he is eventually dubbed, and he will only speak to the girl at first. But then the girl finds out about a dreadful secret that explains Carver's difference. Can the girl give up her love, or will she die trying to protect it?

MaDoRi
Ready or Not by Meg Cabot
Rating: 1 Stars
Okay, here's the deal: Cabot is overrated. The gal is a psycho person who obviously thinks teen sex and partying is fine! I've never seen a more teenager-y adult in my life. READY OR NOT is the second book in her All-American Girl series. The first was better, but both were awful. Don't get me wrong --- Cabot is talented and her stories creative, but my gosh, help us teens be better, not worse!

Edward's the same as always, but he ripped my heart out of my chest and had tears rolling down my cheeks once again!! Read it now!

Skin by Ted Dekker
Rating: 5 Stars
SKIN is an amazing book! In the first few pages you're thrown into a nightmarish world of death and confusion, and a beauty vs. ugliness game created by a killer. No one knows the good guys...or the bad ones. Finally, the killer asks the contestants to do an incomprehensible deed: kill the ugliest one. Easy, right? Any one can tell who's the ugliest, but does the killer mean inner ugliness? What if beauty and ugliness aren't just skin deep?

Dawn by Elie Wiesel
Rating: 5 Stars
A most compelling novel about a young Jew out of the concentration camps, who --- back at his homeland --- fights for freedom from the British. Masterfully written, this is a story about murder, and how it feels to be the one holding the gun, condemned to kill an innocent person. Filled with the most challenging philosophical ideas that make the reader ponder over every phrase, this is a must read for everyone who wants intrigue. Impossible to put down, this book reads through page after page, making you feel like your problems are little and insignificant compared to the challenges the main character has faced, and is about to face.
