Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the funniest book I've ever read!!! It's great for those of us who love to shop. Plus, if you love it, there are sequels (SHOPAHOLIC TAKES MANHATTAN, SHOPAHOLIC TIES THE KNOT, SHOPAHOLIC AND SISTER, etc.).

Storm Thief by Chris Wooding

An awesome book that's really imaginatve and morbid in some ways.

The Bar Code Rebellion by Suzanne Weyn
Rating: 5 Stars
Kayla has lost a lot in the resistance. It seems like everyone she has encountered is dead. She's the girl everyone wants to be captured. What happens after that, no one knows. But things get peculiar when Kayla sees a girl advertising for Global-1. She's putting the blame on the wrong people, and has that dreaded tattoo on her wrist. When Kayla has a glimpse of the girl, that face, that smile, it is hers. Is she Kayla's twin, or possibly her clone? Kayla is not so sure when she finds more look-alikes, some nice...some not so nice. She can't stop running. Getting caught would be a disaster. A close friend commits suicide, and a person she loves is forced to acquire the tattoo on their wrist. She is reunited with old friends, and meets new ones. The secrets she's been looking for are finally revealed, and they're not so pretty. Will the bar code rebellion finally be over? Will everyone get the freedom they deserve?

The Bar Code Tattoo by Suzanne Weyn
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is set in 2025, a new world, a new life...a new meaning. Kayla Marie Reed is turning seventeen, the age of gaining your identity; the age when you acquire the bar code tattoo. Kayla only resists getting it because she doesn't like being labeled. And frankly, it's not the law. But then, her world changes. People are turning away and learning the truth. People are starting to die. They know too much. The tattoo becomes law. Once you become of age, there is no turning back. Kayla knows what she must do. She joins Decode, a group of resisters. She knows it's time to run from the world that is falling apart. And whoever resists and gets caught ends up dead.

Rating: 4 Stars
A boy meets his estranged twin sister and brother when their father dies. It's very good, but the end is a little too perfect.

Courtney

Rating: 4 Stars
Good book. It's funny.

Jaimie
Hollywood Hills by Aimee Friedman
Rating: 4 Stars
A great book, and like Aimee Freidman's other books, it's like a fairy tale with richie rich glam.

Meg
On Beauty by Zadie Smith
Rating: 5 Stars
This is an absolutely beautiful novel. Smith is an amazing author.

Marissa
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is written in verse, just like all of Hopkins' books. Its about the struggle of three teenagers. It was a very good book that everyone should read.

Marissa
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
A sequel to the excellent book, TWILIGHT. NEW MOON is a little slower, but still very good. I recommend it for anyone who likes romance and fiction.

Juwairia
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the most amazing books I've ever read. It's absolutely brilliantly written. I'm trying not to put spoilers in here, so all I can say is that the storyline itself and the way it was written really provoked emotions. It was so sad. I cried and cried at the ending. If you've never read the Harry Potter series; do it now. They are definitely one of the best series I've ever read. Harry's is an enthralling and vivid adventure full of exciting twists and turns that you get pulled into instantly.

Brittany Ayala
A Matter of Trust by Anne Schraff
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the most wonderful book I've read, because it's about true friends, and how devious they can be.

Ian lenthart
Secret of the Dragon's Eye by Derek Hart
Rating: 5 Stars
Thaddeus Osbert is a dragon who lives in Cornwall, England. He takes under his wing three teens, Gavin, Emily and Bunty. This book is so cool because the dragon is funny, and addicted to sugar. There's a lot of action and adventure, and I learned a lot about being a teen in England during World War II. There are Germans sneaking around and a nasty black dragon who wants Thaddeus dead. This is Book One, so I can't wait until the next book comes out!

B
The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
I really enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put it down. I love all the of Jodi Picoult's books, they just keep drawing me in.

Rating: 5 Stars
This is an inspiring story about love, hope, and inspiration. It's truly a page turner.

Danielle
Madison Finn Series by Laura Dower
Rating: 4 Stars
Good series.

Jenna
The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book! It's about a girl named Zoe, whose mom is dying of cancer. She meets a mysterious boy named Simon who is a vampire and he helps her with her loss. It's more complicated than that, but I had to only give a summary. It is a great story, and I really recommend it highly.

Evelyn
Sims by F. Paul Wilson
Rating: 3 Stars
I'm reading SIMS for my biology class, and it is about our world and how we have created a race between chimps and humans called Sims. The company who made them (SimGem) is hiding a big secret and the two main characters, Patrick and Romy --- who are fighting for Sims to receIve rights --- are being helped by a mysterious character named Zero. It's really good so far!

Evelyn
Rocket Boys by Homer Hickman Jr.
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a true story about the "rocket boys" of Coalwood, Virginia who changed their town in many ways. It takes place during the time when Russia launched Sputnik into space. Homer and his friends are interested in rockets and try building their own. Some of the townspeople think of them as bothersome, while others believe their dreams of going into space are very intelligent. I thought the book was pretty great because it combined humor, history, reality, and drama to tie everything together!

Amanda
Stardust by Neil Gaimen
Rating: 5 Stars
Great dark fantasy.

Catherine
The Sixth Wife by Suzannah Dunn
Rating: 3 Stars
This is a pretty good book. It's about King Henry VIII's sixth wife, and what happens to her after his death when she marries Thomas Seymour.

Catherine
Impluse by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books I've ever read. It's a psychological thriller about three teenagers who have attempted suicide and failed. They are entered into a mental facility and describes their experiences there.

Valynn
Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson
Rating: 4 Stars
A different take on the legendary PETER PAN. If you enjoy lots of high-seas adventure, pirates, mystery, and magic, this book is wonderful!

Sandy
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
I was truly impressed by NEW MOON . At times, sequels to outstanding books (in this case, TWILIGHT) are usually not as fulfilling as the first. However, NEW MOON kept me reading from page 1 non-stop! I have not read any book like the kind written by Stephenie Meyer. They are very unique and thrilling. I cannot wait until her next book, ECLIPSE. It is truly a joy to sit down and read one of her books! In fact, when people talk about NEW MOON at school, I am always the first to say, "Oh! That is a really good book!" I truly recommend NEW MOON to anyone at any age. I have deeply enjoyed it.

Charlotte's Web by E. B. White
Rating: 5 Stars
This book includes a lot of details that a many readers would like. You should include it on your website.

Valynn
School's Out by Christophe Dufosse
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is not out quite yet. I work in a bookstore and got my hands on an advance reader copy. So far. it's awesome! It's super mysterious, full of action, and there is a thick plot and lots of details. It's about a new teacher who comes to replace another teacher who'd attempted suicide. The new guy, Pierre, notices something strange about all the students. They are too perfect and are definitely hiding something. Strange events unfold and he thinks maybe the suicide was actually murder... Keep your eyes peeled for SCHOOL'S OUT. It should be out in a couple of months!

Valynn
Witch Child by Celia Rees
Rating: 4 Stars
I was a bit apprehensive about reading this book because it is in diary form, but not far into the book, you forget about that because you are drawn in by the story. Set in the mid-1600s, it follows a girl escaping the English witch hunts and coming to America. She joins the Puritans and fights to hide her true self. Is she a witch or isn't she? A great read!

Can You Keep A Secret? by Sophie Kinsella
Rating: 5 Stars
Emma Corrigan is on an air plane and thinks she is about to die, so spills all of her secrets to a complete stranger. But as Monday comes, that complete stranger turns out to be her boss! Now all Emma can do is look down and remember that she told him how she lost her virginity, that her goldfish aren't that same one her parents gave her, or how she thinks her boyfriend is so perfect that he looks like a Ken doll. Read this book, it's the best ever!

Valynn
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Honestly, this is the best book I have ever gotten my hands on. If you enjoy vampires, heart-pounding action, or romance, this book is definitely something you need to read. I was so fascinated. I finished it in 2 days, as well as the 2nd book, NEW MOON, which is equally amazing. I am anxiously awaiting ECLIPSE, which will be released August 7, 2007.

Valynn
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 5 Stars
Melissa takes a whole new avenue when it comes to vampires. Legends and myths we know are put in a whole new light and the "truth" is shocking. It's a beautifully twisted tale and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampires, twisted plots, jaw-dropping action, and a little bit of romance. I'm so looking forward to the next installment!

Valynn
Fairest by Gail Carson Levine
Rating: 4 Stars
A whole new spin on the Snow White fairytale. Like SNOW WHITE, FAIREST has a dark plot, but a happy ending. The ties to the fairytale are not obvious until close to the end of the book, but it is one of Levine's best works, by far. Highly recommended.

Marian
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 5 Stars
I thought this was a great book. It shows how a girl began high school with problems, but she coped with them and became a stronger person at the end.

Minny
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
TWILIGHT is a beautiful story about a girl who meets a vampire. But, it's not scary vampire... trust me, anyone could love this book. It's the type of book that makes you want to reread it a few million times. :)

Cat
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 4 Stars
It always keeps going. It's excitingly fun.

Rachie Ricke

Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book, it was the best! I really think you should read it!! I love it!!

DC
The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak
Rating: 2 Stars
I know others loved this book, but I didn't care for it. It was a slow story about the Holocaust, revolving around a girl who lives with foster parents during the war.

Kelli
Ice Dancing by Nicholas Walker
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was great! I read it twice in a row because it was so great!!

I LOVE B.L.
Tangerine by Eward Bloor
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing!

Georgia Rounder
Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lumbar
Rating: 4 Stars
This book provides the reader with many situations and struggles that the main character must work through as a freshmen. Very relatable!

Kate
The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 4 Stars
I always love Jodi Picoult's books. My teacher recommended THE TENTH CIRCLR to me. I love this book, it's about a young 14-year-old girl going through heartbreak after her 16-year old boyfriend breaks up with her. Now he is dating another girl, which causes Trixie (main character) to attempt suicide, and then an act of jealousy backfires. I can not put this book down, and it relates to so many girls, who have just lost their boyfriends, trying to do anything they can to get them back. Her home life also contains conflict, which a lot of young teens go through as well. This plot unfolds right in the beginning of the book, but more secrets are revealed as the book goes on. This is one of Jodi's best books.

Ricki
Off*Beat Vol 2 by Jen Lee Quick
Rating: 3 Stars
The story was progressing nicely, but the ending left me mad. I hope things turn around in the next volume.

Sofia Araya
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
TWILIGHT is an amazing story about a girl named Bella who falls in love with a handsome vampire, Edward Cullen. Though their relationship has some difficulties, they would do anything to be with each other. You should definitely read this book if you enjoy love stories with a supernatural twist.

Katie
Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalles
Rating: 5 Stars
This was a great book, but it's better when read out loud to little kids.

Yusuf
The Hard Way by Lee Child
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is the best. Whoever loves action and fighting must read this, as well as PERSUADER, which is about a man whose wife gets kidnapped.

Cyra
Specials by Scott Westerfield
Rating: 4 Stars
The end of an interesting trilogy. Very icy-making.

Meghan
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Rating: 4 Stars
It's a good book. It is confusing at first, if you do not realize whose commentary it is. It gets better, though, and becomes slightly intriguing.

Andrea
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a great book full of dark-ish, imaginitive adventure. I don't want to ruin the book for others, but if you liked Harry Potter or TWILIGHT, you're bound to love this book.

Gina
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is one of the best I have ever read. I just couldn't put it down and I ended up finishing it in 3 days. It's the story of a werewolf and a vampire who are both in love with the same girl. The race to save someone else's life rather than hers was just terrific! All the suspense in the novel was absolutely riveting and kept me reading on and on.

Maggie
Warriors Don't Cry by Melba Pattillo Beals
Rating: 4 Stars
An autobiography of the author's life during the Civil Rights Movement. She was one of the Little Rock Nine: one of nine African Americans who dared to integrate the all-white Central High School. This was an emotional and heart-breaking story of her childhood and innocence being stripped away within one school year.

Ciara
Rx by Tracy Lynn
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm a person who doesn't get into books very easily, but this one was a real page turner! It's about a senior named Thyme who is dealing with the same problems any teenager that age would: boys, popularity, grades, right from wrong, etc., but the twist is that she gets pressured too much and becomes a drug addict and even starts dealing drugs. There are a lot of interesting events in this book, so why not read it and find out for yourself!

Jess F
Now You See Her by Jacquelyn Mitchard
Rating: 4 Stars
I admit I knew the premise of the book while reading it. I wish the reader had been let in on the main character's true mental state, so anyone who reads it would be more "in" on some of the passing comments she makes. I loved it!!!

Caitlin
Teach Me by R. A. Nelson
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing! Although the topic may be seen as controversial and inappropriate, it adds to the awkwardness of the real theme --- first love. R. A. Nelson uses dialogue phenomenally to make you feel like you are Nine, the main character. This compelling novel is one of my all-time favorites.

Carmen
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Rating: 5 Stars
Great read!!

Jess
Acceleration by Graham McNamee
Rating: 4 Stars
ACCELERATION is really easy to get into, and it is an action-packed mystery that you have to read more then once.

Kelsey
Prom Dates from Hell by Rosemary Clement-Moore
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is really good. I loved it. I couldn't put it down. This is her first book, and oh my god. it was awesome. If you like books with a little bit of romance, the supernatural, and the big P (prom), you will love this.

Jennifer
My Dog's a Scaredy Cat by Henry Wrinkler and Lin Oliver
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best book I ever read. The part when he tries to get back at Nick the Tick was so cool.

Drumstick
Three Days by Donna Jo Napoli
Rating: 5 Stars
It is about a girl who is stuck in Italy because her father dies while they were there. She got kidnapped, but eventually is put on a train to come home.

Sarah Paulson
Prince of Dogs by Kate Elliot
Rating: 4 Stars
Very compelling, but the characters' points of view skips around from character point of view a lot. This book is part of a series, so it is taking a while to get to the point of the books.

Elizabeth
Flyte by Angie Sage
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is the best book I have ever read!!! It makes more sense if you read the first one, MAGYK, before FLYTE, but it is still awesome! If you love fantasy books, then you will absolutely love this series!

Tinsley
The It Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
Jenny Humphey makes it where she has always wanted --- boarding school, the answer to her prayers. After getting thrown out of Constance Billard Private school, which she attended with Blair and Serena, she made her quest to find the best Boarding School she could find. And she found it, Waverly Academy. There, she falls in love and makes new friends, and enemies. Drama and juicy gossip is what you will find.

Nicole
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is not your typical human-falls-in-love-with-beautiful-vampire-boy book.

When Bella moved to Forks, a small rainy town, she never expects to suddenly earn the hate and attention, not to mention becoming the stalking subject of the beautiful and mysterious Edward Cullen. However, as she discovers his secrets, she finds there's more to him then a pretty face. When her relationship with the Cullen Family goes past the point of no return, she suddenly finds that some loves are deadly.

The characters are not stereotypical and the vampires are not clichéd. The plot moves at its own pace and in mere seconds, the plot twists into a deadly spiral that envelopes the reader. It's a perfect blend of fantasy and reality in one of the best novels on forbidden love ever written.

Felicia
This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 4 Stars
I'm not finished with the book yet, but so far I haven't been able to put it down. I think Dessen does a really good job showing the struggles Remy is facing, both out in the world and inside herself. I also think she does a good job of showing how Dexter is changing her. This book should be on everyone's must-read list.

Meryl
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Wow! This is a great book. Every girl who likes romance and suspense should read this. STEPHENIE MEYER has written a great sequel to TWILIGHT. I can't wait for eclipse to be released!! You rock, Stephenie!

Julia
Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a must read for vampire lovers. It gives a differant prospective of how vampires orginated and how they live. It's suspenseful, with a little bit of romance. I'm anxious for the second installment to be realeased!

Julia
Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
Rating: 5 Stars
I found this a very good vampire book. It shows vampires in a meaner light. There are no real good vampires in this book. All of the main characters are humans. I like the romance it has between some of the characters.

Felicia
Deception Point by Dan Brown
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm not finished with the book yet, but I would give it a five anyway. Brown keeps the story going, so you are never bored. Just when you think you solved the mystery, he throws in another twist, and you have to rethink it all over again. It's a great book for guys and girls alike because it has a lot of action, political scandals, and just enough of a love story to keep you hooked. Another book of his that wil keep you up all night reading just to see what happens next.

Tinsley
Gossip Girl by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
These juicy books will keep you waiting for more. They pull you in, and of course, remind you of high school --- drama, boyfriend stealing, practical pranks. You name it and Blair and Serena have done it, or have it. These best friends are the center of attention. Right under the their names would be Jenny Humphrey, Freshmen at Constance Billard, and loves to party like a rock star...with the rock stars.

Tinsley
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
TWILIGHT is the best book I have ever read, and it also has a sequal thats 10 times better, called NEW MOON. They are amazing books. I read all the time, and I haven't come across a book better then these two. And the best part, there are more coming out. Yay!

Tinsley
New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This compelling sequel to TWILIGHT will keep you on the edge of your seat, and you will fall in love with Edward and Bella. Mistakes are made, people lose lives, not to mention loves. It is one of the best books I have read in a long time. TWILIGHT and NEW MOON will keep you reading until there is no more left. There are 3 more books coming out by the same author --- 2 sequels, and a re-write of TWILIGHT from Edward's point of view. Get inside Edwards head with the new heart-throbbing novel.

Do the Math: Secrets, Lies, and Algebra by Wendy Lichtman
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was really fun to read.

Ryann
TWILIGHT and NEW MOON by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved both of these books! I got TWILIGHT and read it in one day, then read it again about 50 more times before NEW MOON came out, which I also read in one day. I keep reading them over and over; they never get old. I'm counting down the days until the third book comes out! Stephenie is my all-time favorite author, right next to Jodi Picoult, who is also an awesome author. All of her books are hard to put down!

Hannah Rose
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
Rating: 3 Stars
So far, I'm only giving AMERICAN GODS three stars, but that's really only because I'm barely past the fifty-page mark. I'm enjoying it a lot so far, though, and have heard the follow-up book, ANANSI BOYS is even better!

Hello
Two Little Girls in Blue by Mary Higgins Clark
Rating: 5 Stars
I just started this book, but so far, it's great!

Layla
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke
Rating: 4 Stars
It is a really exciting book that draws you into its own world. I didn't ever think a book about a book could be so good, but it really is. I love how halfway through what reality in the book and the tales of so many other books start to merge, so you don't know what is reality and what isn't.

Karla
Into the Light by Jahnna N. Malcolm
Rating: 5 Stars
I think this book is fantastic because it's so emotional.

Paulina
Petals on the Wind by V. C. Andrews
Rating: 5 Stars
It's a great book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I also like reading books about teenage girls! They keep me interested!

Shlnk
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the greatest books I've read in a long time. You have to read the first book, TWILIGHT, to get to know the characters. Once I finished NEW MOON, I couldn't read anything else because I felt so attached to the characters.

Darien
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about a girl, Anna, who wants medical emancipation from her family. Her sister has leukemia, and Anna has been in the hospital just as much as her sister. Anna was made by her parents to help her sister's needs as her donor.

Ana
Is He or Isn't He? by John Hall
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book, it's so great!! You should read it!

Stephanie
TWILIGHT and NEW MOON by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
In my opinion, these are the two best books ever written. The author pulls her readers into this captivating story. I fell in love with Bella, Edward, and Jacob. In TWILIGHT Bella comes to live in Forks, where she meets Edward Cullen. The beautiful, mysterious, object of perfection...not to mention a vampire. In NEW MOON, you'll get to know Jacob Black much better. I laughed, cried, and fell in love with these books. I recommend that EVERYONE read these. You haven't lived until you have read them!

Felicity
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Rating: 5 Stars
A very powerful and moving book that inspired me and made me want to be stronger, like Gemma (the main character). We go through Gemma's adventures, and in the end, become her loving friend. Her pain is our pain; her joy, ours too.

Rachel
You, Maybe by Rachel Vail
Rating: 4 Stars
A short book with suspense and love. The main character, Josie, turns her life upside down for a boy with too many past girlfriends. In the beginning of the novel, Josie is the kind of person who doesn't mind what other people think, and is also not considered girlfriend material. But as the 15 year old fights for a relationship, she changes her whole life around.

This is a good book, but the author could have added more to the ending of the novel to make the reader understand more about her boyfriend, Carson Gold.

Vampireville by Ellen Schreiber
Rating: 4 Stars
I loved the book. I read it like 20 times and enjoyed the parts when Jagger was always with Raven, and when she was with Alexander. With the goth, I felt that I was in the book, and I saw everything. I wish that the fourth book comes, I will totally read it.

Emily
Shabanu by Suzanne Fisher Staples
Rating: 5 Stars
Set in Pakistan, this novel tells the story of Shabanu, a 12-year-old girl who travels the desert with her nomad family. It describes her conflict of deciding between her duty to her family and her love of freedom. I thought it was a tad boring at first, but after a couple of chapters, it was hard to put down.

The Night I Disappeared by Julie Reece Deaver
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of my absolute favorite books. It's about a girl who seems to be losing her mind and is trying to figure out why. I love how it has a surprising twist near the end that you'd never expect. It's the best book of all time.

Even Now by Karen Kingsbury
Rating: 4 Stars
I love to read and when my friend, Patty told me about this book I could not wait to read it.This book isn't really geared toward people our age, but I think that all teen girls should read it.This book is about a 16-year-old girl and her boyfriend. She gets pregnant, and her parents split her and her boyfriend up. In the middle of the book the daughter of the teen is now in her teens and she sets out to find the dad she never knew.

Ok, so I don't want to give away the whole story but I definitely suggest that you read this book!

Rating: 4 Stars
This is really great, though it seemed slightly outdated.

Mirror
Shrimp by Rachel Cohn
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book a lot. It was a great sequel and summed things up quite nicely. The thing I didn't like about this book was all the references to the first book, GINGERBREAD. It got kind of annoying and repetitive, but all in all, it was a great book.

It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
Rating: 4 Stars
A beautifully written story that makes you think about how teens deal with the stress and pressures of life. Craig, a guy who appeared to have it all but found "it all" unsatisfying, finds happiness through an inadvertent trip to a mental hospital.

Skinny-Dipping by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 3 Stars
I read the first book, AU-PAIRS, and I decided that it was a pretty good beach read. So when I saw that there was to be another one out, SKINNY-DIPPING, I knew I had to read it and see what was happening with the troublesome, gossiping trio. It's a book worth reading while either relaxing on the beach, or floating in your pool.

Blood on His Hands by Willo Davis Roberts
Rating: 5 Stars
I got this book out from the library when I read about it on the review list, and I finished it in 3 hours. It's about a boy who has it all, and then through no fault of his own, loses it. His struggles with peers, faith, and family are real and you can definitely see yourself in his position. When I was done I said a prayer, thankful for all that I've been given. A really great book!

So far, I'm going to give it three stars, as I'm only a little while in. But I can tell I'm hooked!

Next by Michael Crichton
Rating: 4 Stars
NEXT was very good. It is about what our future might be like with genetic changes and the problems that might occur in the near future. It had many interesting ideas that seemed (and are) entirely possible. It also made me think about a lot of different things, like who really owns our genetics? It was a very fascinating book and I highly recommend it.

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 4 Stars
Jodi Picoult is my absolute favorite author, so I knew I would like it, but I was slightly disappointed. I thought that it was very underdeveloped and that it focused on parts that weren't important. The end was very abrupt and kind of confusing. I still liked the book, and I would definitely recommend it, but it wasn't Jodi Picoult's best.

I'd Tell You I Love You... by Ally Carter
Rating: 5 Stars
I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU, BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU was one of the best books I have ever read. 15-year-old Cammie Morgan is not just any old girl, she's a GALLAGHER GIRL. Her mom is the headmistress of Gallagher Academy, a school for spys. While she can speak 14 languages, kill a man in 7 ways and hack into almost anything, she finds something she is not prepared for: love. In this brilliant book, you follow Cammie on her relationship with a normal boy.

Fiona
Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a dark and thought-provoking novel. Dostoevsky's literary genius really does make this novel shine, though. The story is of a young man, Raskolnikov, who commits a crime and fancies himself a Napoleon figure. The ramifications and his increasing anxiety and shame after the murder all make for a riveting read. Don't miss this classic!
