Rating: 5 Stars
This novel is the best suspenseful story that anyone could possibly dig their teeth into.
Lily
Bittersweet Sixteen by Carrie Karasyov & Jill Kargman
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book so much! It showed how girls really do act, and that just because some girls are rich it doesn't mean that they hate people with no money like other books show or imply. I loved that it showed that the rich and famous of NYC do get put under a TON of pressure come party time and I absolutly enjoyed seeing them sweat about it. It showed that they are human like the rest of us.
Helen
Princess in Waiting by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
A good book sure to bring smiles. Be sure to read The Princess Diaries books in order, though, as they read almost like one continuous novel.

Rating: 4 Stars
This book is awesome! It's about a girl named Libby, who is one of the "It girls". But, she gets bored of her friends and does and internship at a zoo. She meets the "losers" of the school, and actually likes them. When cliques collide!
Jen
Kemeya by Nicole Boothe
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the best books I've read. It's a typical teen drama that ends with a twist, and it's such a page turner. You won't be able to put this book down. A-List and Gossip Girls fans won't be disappointed.

A Child Called 'It' by Katy
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so sad, I cried in the middle of it. It's a true story of abuse. Nevertheless, excellently written and told.
xoxdarling12
Vinegar Hill by A. Manette Ansay
Rating: 4 Stars
I'm not very far into this book yet, but it's really good so far. A. Manette Ansay really has a lovely way of painting a picture, and she always finds ways to relate her characters to real-life, believable situations.
xoxdarling12
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a great book. Stephenie Meyer really knows how to follow up her blockbuster TWILIGHT with something even better. Readers won't be able to get enough of Edward Cullen.
xoxdarling12
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. I'm actually reading it a second time for a research paper, but if I had the time I'd probably read all the books over and over again. The Harry Potter series reaches out to people of all ages, and its a relaxing, easy read.
xoxdarling12
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Rating: 3 Stars
This book is alright. It's mainly getting 3 stars because of its sentimental value more than anything else. It sort of drags on, in my opinion, and if you're not ready to read something old-fashioned, stick with modern lit.
xoxdarling12
Circus of the Damned by Laurell K. Hamilton
Rating: 4 Stars
Laurell K. Hamilton puts a unique spin on vampires. While her heroine, Ms. Anita Blake, is an Animator of the dead, she doesn't support vampires. And yet, she is inextricably connected with the Master Vampire of the city. With more action than a Mel Gibson movie, this series is great.
Helen
River Secrets by Shannon Hale
Rating: 5 Stars
A marvelous sequel to THE GOOSE GIRL and ENNA BURNING! This book is totally worth reading, but if you are new to the series, read the first two installments first, as they provide a lot of backstory.

Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez
Rating: 5 Stars
It's pretty cool, and it's hard to say how gay guys are treated.
Kazia
The Beatrice Letters by Lemony Snicket
Rating: 5 Stars
A great book for Lemony Snicket fans! It gives you some additional information on the lives of Beatrice and Lemony... This doesn't make any sense if you haven't read the series, and it becomes even more clear after reading THE END.
Latasha
The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
Rating: 4 Stars
I really love the irony in this book. The baby that the man gave away because he thought keeping it would destroy his family helps make another family stronger; and his family falls to pieces anyway.
Daniel
Maus 1: A Survivors Tale by Art Spiegelman
Rating: 4 Stars
MAUS is the true story of Vladek Spiegelman, a Holocaust survivor, written in the form of a graphic novel. The Jews are portrayed as mice, the Nazis as cats, and the French as frogs. The artwork is fairly good, however, there is a little language. But if this is your first time reading a graphic novel (or not), I highly recommend it.

A very good suspense/adventure series. It gets you in there with Klaus, Violet, and Sunny.
Latasha
Petals On The Wind by V.C. Andrews
Rating: 5 Stars
The first book, FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC, was about children who were betrayed by their mother; this book is about how the daughter single-mindedly seeks her revenge, even if it does result in her self-destruction. This is an amazing book that will really make you think twice before you ever seek revenge again!
psychmaid88
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
Wow...what can I say? It's romantic, yet I'm thinking "Where the heck is he?" It's sweet, but I'm screaming, "How could you leave her, you jerk?" The whole book is like that. You really get into it and you start to imagine yourself in the book. TWILIGHT was so much better though, by a LONG shot.

Tithe by Holly Black

Royally Jacked by Niki Burnham
Rating: 5 Stars
If you are a girl searching for a really good romance book, I highly recommend this. This story is about a girl who leaves town with her father to go live in a European country. While she is there, she meets the prince Georg and they start to fall for each other. This book has 2 sequels, SPIN CONTROL and DO-OVER, which are also really good books.
Trixie
Raina's Story by Lurlene McDaniel
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the second book of the Angels in Pink Trilogy, and it's as good as the first book, KATHLEEN'S STORY --- maybe even better. I wonder what will happen between Raina and her boyfriend Hunter in the last book, and I hope Holly gets a boyfriend too, because she seems so left out...

You Don't Know Me by David Klass
Rating: 4 Stars
When you first judge this book by its cover, you think that it's a wierd, gothic, not-for-me-to-read kind of book, but one you open it, it's a new thought. The book is very confusing at first, but once you get to know the main character and how he thinks, you are in a new demension. This book is filled with sadness, adventure, thrills, and wonders.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
Rating: 4 Stars
WUTHERING HEIGHTS is a very good, classic novel set in the 1800s that is about two people's love for each other, and how they never actually get to be together. It's not mushy either. Its just a very gripping story about love and loss.

Sunshine by Robin McKinley
Rating: 4 Stars
This is definitely not your average vampire book. The sarcastic and witty narrative provided by a baker called Sunshine is mostly centered on world-building and character exploration. Instead of vampires being gorgeous and alluring, McKinley portrays them as repulsive. The main character is a heroine that is unique and never-seen-before. Despite the sometimes slowness of the pace, the book is all in all a breath of fresh air in a stale genre.

I totally love this book! It is the cutest thing I've ever read. It's about a mouse that gets a cookie and what follows that. It's hard to explain how it goes, but I still love it even though it was written for little kids.
