Lucas by Kevin Brooks
Rating: 5 Stars
This was like one of the best books I have ever read. It's about this girl named Cait who meets a boy named Lucas (that's how that ties into the title). But, not everyone in town likes Lucas and they start blaming him for things he didn't do. I highly recommend this to girl and boy teen readers alike.

Makenna
Windwalker by Natasha Mostert
Rating: 5 Stars
AMAZING... I'm absolutely in love with this book. My friend lent it to me and I thought "meh, this is just gonna be one of those stupid sci-fi romance books..." BOY HOWDY was I wrong!!

I reccomend this to anyone who has an interest in ghosts or in photography, or just likes romance novels.

Izarin
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
Rating: 5 Stars
Moving, unique, and breathtaking! The characters are so tangible and the uncertainties of the flashbacks only made me value Kathy's (the main character) past even more. The story is heartwarming as I was tempted to cry twice. The ending will leave you feeling something that words alone cannot explain.

Melissa
Big Mouth & Ugly Girl by Joyce Carol Oates
Rating: 5 Stars
Matt Donaghy always had a big mouth, and he knew that one day, it would get him in trouble. Matt then gets accused for threatening to blow up the school. Can Ursula Riggs --- a.k.a Ugly Girl, who doesn't care about what anyone says about her --- save Matt from becoming a Juvie? I loved it!

Catherine
The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
Rating: 5 Stars
The best book I've ever read. It's a new fresh read.

booklady24
Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 5 Stars
Like many of Ms.Rhodes's other novels, SHATTERED MIRROR is the story of vampires, love, self discovery, humanity, and of course a kick-butt female heroine! This book was incredible! I read it in an hour and I didn't want it to end. I was shocked when I learned the author was first published when she was thirteen years old. It is an incredible book that questions the way many people see things. It asks readers to look within themselves and wonder, is there always just black or white?

Christa
The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks
Rating: 4 Stars
I really liked this book. It inspired me to read more by this author. I liked how it showed how concerned the mother was --- it was so practical, like it could happen at any time. It showed how kind people can be even if you don't know them.

Becky
Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan
Rating: 5 Stars
Definitely one of my favourite romances! It is so sweet and shows how far one boy will go to prove his love and to be forgiven. It shows how schools would be if they accepted everyone for who they were: gay, straight, male or female. This book is very heartwarming and I would recommend it to anyone!

Kelsey
Love Hina by Ken Akamatsu
Rating: 5 Stars
Wwaaaaaahhhh!! I'm soooo sad! I just finished the last book in the "Love Hina" series. The last half of the book skipped four years into the future and I missed all that. Now that it is all over I feel like I lost some really close friends. I wish there were more books in the series. It has been so much fun to read and go on all the crazy adventures with the characters, especially Keitaro and Naru.

Paige
You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! by Fiona Rosenbloom
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was very funny and entertaining! Read it even if you're not Jewish!!!!!

Caitlin
Christy by Catherine Marshall
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was truly moving. It says that it's okay to be yourself when helping others. It helped me understand what sacrificing for others really means. Anyone who loves romance and books about helping people should read this.

Marissa
Bad Kitty by Michele Jaffe
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book. It was honest, funny, and witty. It was truly spoken.

Kayla
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Rating: 5 Stars
Between a successful life and love at it's finest, this book went thoroughly in depth about what life would have been like in the 1920s. This book was amazingly written, and deserves 6 stars instead of only 5.

Kelsey
Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan
Rating: 5 Stars
I love these books sooo much! Each turn of the page brings you on to a new adventure. Everything that happens is so unexpected. Each creature in the stories is unique. (ex. the Little People.) It is a real page turner. Some parts are kinda bloody, but the books are so great. I recommend them books to everyone!!

Terri
Girl, 15, Charming But Insane by Sue Limb
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is absolutely awesome!!! It's set in England and is really captivating. It tells the story of a brunette girl (Jess) as she struggles to be a perfect golden girl like her best friend (Flora). I would recommend this book to almost any girl out there. (And even some boys!)

luv2read
Confessions of A Teenage Nanny by Victoria Ashton
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so good because each chapter leaves you wanting to read more and more. I love how it depicts the lives of rich families. I also love to see the way the nannies live and what they like to do.

Crystal
The It Girl by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
I have only just started to read this book, but I have read almost all the "Gossip Girl," that this book is a spin off of. I can never put her books down, they keep you wondering what will happen next.

This book is about a 10th grader named Jenny Humphrey, who has been kicked out of Constance Billard, a high-end all-girls school, in the "Gossip Girl" series. Now in this new series, she attends a boarding school in an effort to remake herself into the "It" girl.

Ashley
Love That Dog by Sharon Creech
Rating: 4 Stars
Such a cute novel! A great quick read!

Ashley
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
Rating: 4 Stars
It is a terrific book, even if Frey made some things up. I still love it and I still think it is a great work, like GO ASK ALICE, telling people not to do drugs without actually telling them not to do drugs.

Morgan
The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is great if you are a strong Christian, or looking to do a school report on the Holocaust (this may get you extra points with the teacher because most have read it). Yes, it is a bit old fashioned, but it is definitely worth it if you want to hear a miraculous story.

Ashleigh
The Ragwitch by Garth Nix
Rating: 5 Stars
Garth Nix is one of my favorite authors. His books are the kind that you don't want to put down, but you don't want them to end. I found THE RAGWITCH to be no exception.

Paul, the main character, is thrown into a world where the North-Queen is thought to be vanquished forever. As he struggles to find his sister, Julia --- who the Ragwitch has taken control of --- he comes to realize that he must seek the Wild Magic that originally cast out the Ragwitch in order to save his sister and the friends that he has made.

Morgan
Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison
Rating: 5 Stars
If you need something to make you laugh, I would sugest all the Georgia Nicholson books. Start off with ANGUS, THONGS, AND FULL-FRONTAL SNOGGING and work your way into getting hooked on the series. British comedy is always the way to go if you'd like to laugh your butt off.

Ally
In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater Rhodes
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is amazing, just like all of her others!

Lil Miss. Anon Y. Mous
Nine Days a Queen by Ann Rinaldi
Rating: 5 Stars
OMG! This book is one of the best I have ever read, and believe me, I have read NUMEROUS books. When you start, it's kind of boring, but once you get in the fifties, the action starts kickin. You might not like historical fiction, BUT, this is the true story of how Bloody Mary came to be.

Kendra
Mates, Dates, and Diamond Destiny by Cathy Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
Nesta, Lucy, TJ, and Izzie are so funny, they keep you turning and turning the pages! All of a sudden you can't wait for the next book, and want to read more!

Ashley
Where the Heart is by Billie Letts
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. It's well written and heart grabbing!!!

Casey
Love from London by Emily Franklin
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the next in the "Principles of Love" series, and it's the best so far.

Bria
The Clique by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 5 Stars
I can relate to this a lot because i'm in a clique. The only thing harder than getting in is staying in!

Ali
Shrimp by Rachel Cohn
Rating: 5 Stars
I thought SHRIMP was a great sequel and had an ending that made you wish the book never ended. It made me laugh, and the way Rachel Cohn writes the book is great. its almost like she is a 17-year-old girl.

Ms. Kienia
Margarettown by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 5 Stars
This is an awsome book for people who enjoy romantic-drama-fantasy books.

Kendra
Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
An action-filled, humorous, love story that keeps you reading the book!

ZoZo../*
The Au Pairs: Skinny Dipping by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a really fun book to read! It's the second book in the series. What I like about it is that the author doesn't exagerate anything; she writes in an easy but descriptive way that you can understand, and also picture everything in your head. I recommend this book to anyone who has read the "Gossip Girl" series, the "A-List" series or "The Clique" series.

Kelsey
Warriors: The New Prophecy #3 -- Dawn by Erin Hunter
Rating: 4 Stars
Sorry, before I said MOONRISE was #3 of "The New Prophecy," but it was number two. I type too fast to think about what I am saying sometimes. I read DAWN a while ago and forgot to write about it. It was very good. There was suspense and adventure throughout the story. I still say the older "Warriors" books were better, though!

Nikki
Babylon Rising by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins
Rating: 5 Stars
I love it. Any book with a lot of action and a lot of God is great to me!!!!!

Julie
A Time To Kill by John Grisham
Rating: 5 Stars
This is probably the best book that I have read by John Grisham so far. It is funny, exciting, and dramatic. I recommend this to anyone 13 and up because it does have some senstive material in it.

Cydney
Sweep: Origins by Cate Tiernan
Rating: 5 Stars
I love the "Sweep" series books, but I like this one the best.

Safia
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books I've ever read. Can there be love between an ordinary girl and a vampire? Find out in this captivating tale.

Bethany B.
The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was, I thought, extremely riveting at times, and very real. The book is compiled of short stories of four Chinese mothers and their daughters. The stories take place in China and America from the 40's to the 80's. It shows what life is like in China for different people in different classes of society, and some of the tales are really heartwrenching and show very different ways of thinking. I give it only four stars because not all of the stories are that great, and because I've seen better writing. It's a book that makes you see things in others' eyes and is definitely worth reading.

Bethany B
The Chosen by Chaim Potok
Rating: 5 Stars
I borrowed this book from a friend and finished it in three days. It is a beautifully written story that is compelling, as well as geniune. It's a novel about two Jewish boys and their very different fathers. The boys are faced with controversy when they form a friendship because they are from separate sects and ways of life. It's a fascinating book because it shows the same religion from extremely different perspectives and points of view. It also says a lot about the riveting history and culture of Judaism. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Liz
The Perks Of being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Rating: 5 Stars
This book has changed my view on my life, my family, my faith, my friends... myself. I have found myself in each and every character. Stephen Chbosky truly depicts the life of many teenagers in this day and age, making it easier for someone to relate to his characters. Even if you are not dealing with the same situations as they are, I'm positive that you will know someone who is. I highly recommend THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER to anyone and everyone --- especially those who are trying to find themselves.

Rona
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison
Rating: 5 Stars
The novel is told from a very postmodern view. The story is fragmented and told by different narrators, and yet it retains a certain underlying unity. It tells a depressing story about the plight of African-Americans, but it's a story that needs to be told. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Safia
This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is another incredible Sarah Dessen novel. It's about a tough girl and the (hot!) boy who breaks through all of her walls. It's a really touching read.

Kelsey
Cirque De Freak by Darren Shan
Rating: 4 Stars
I love this series! I am only on the third book, and I am hooked. My friend said the third book is the best, so I can't wait to read it! My teacher is yelling at me, so I have to stop writing.

Sarah
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I just love this book! Stephenie Meyer just tells such extraordinary stories. I can't wait for NEW MOON, the second one, ECLIPSE, the third one, and the fourth untitled one. I just love this book, and that's why I just have to collect them all.

Ashley
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
I thought this book was very entertaining and kept me reading for two entire hours. And I never read! lol!

Danielle
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
Rating: 2 Stars
There isn't much to the plot. As a matter of fact, I still haven't figured out what it is, but the characters are awesome. Ayn Rand does an amazing job in bringing the characters off the pages and making them real. The book is a little long for your average reader, but if you have the time and plenty of patience, it's good enough.

Chrstina
Breaking Point by Alex Flinn
Rating: 5 Stars
This book made me think about how much schools are alike, and how many problems are caused by the "cliques" we create. This book revolves around how a "geek" is sucked into a fake friendship to harm his fellow students. This is one of the best books I' ve read thus far. If you have the time... find this book and read it. I don't think it could do any harm to read another good book.

Danielle
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Rating: 3 Stars
Once you get past the language and almost meaningless conversation, it's a good book. If you have patience and perserverance, you can find the jewel that so many other readers have found. However, your average reader would become bored quickly.

*.x.*Haileigh*.x.*
Gossip Girl by cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 4 Stars
"Gossip Girl" is a book series about the teenage lifestyle. Three girls go through all the problems every other teen girl experiences: boys, friends, gossip, sex, drugs, alcohol, and all the other things a typical teen goes through. I recommend this book to all teenage girls. It's a great book collection, and I think all girls would like it. I know I loved it!

*.x.*haileigh*.x.*
My Name Is Davy, I'm An Alcoholic by Anne Snyder
Rating: 4 Stars
This is an excellent book. Davy Kimble, a 15 year old, has no friends. That is, until he meets booze and Maxi. Davy soon can only depend on alcohol. You're going to have to read the book to get the rest of the story! It's a great book, and it's VERY hard to put down.

MiDnIgHt
In the Forest of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 5 Stars
I just love this book! You have to read it if you like vampire books! I read it in five hours because it was so great; I just had to finish it. Read her other books called DEMON IN MY VIEW, SHATTERED MIRROR, MIDNIGHT PREDATOR, HAWKSONG, and last but not least FALCONDANCE.

Jamie
Candy by Kevin Books
Rating: 4 Stars
This book, among the rest I've read, has stayed with me to this day. I mean, sure it's not old. But I can recall all the events that happened, and the thoughts of a teenage boy in love with a dangerous girl. This book is definitely riveting.

Kate
The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
I really loved this book! I'm going to go get the next one soon. I thought this book was awesome and I couldn't put it down.

Catherine
Project Mulberry by Linda Sue Park
Rating: 3 Stars
I could relate to the main character a lot with the annoying brother, etc. There are also some racial problems in this book too.

Alexandra McDougal
Misty Nights by Brittney Lawrence
Rating: 5 Stars
MISTY NIGHTS sounds like your typical cheap vampire romance novel, but it isn't. Once you get into it, MISTY NIGHTS has a great storyline about a girl (Mist) who finds out she's more than your average, every day human. At first, she thinks that Flynn Nightly (a handsome vampire) is a good guy, then she isn't so sure... (but don't get your hopes up, I'm not going to give it all away) Some people may be hesitant to read this because the author is so young (only fourteen), but that's what make this book all the more brilliant and amazing.

Millie Kathy
Second Summer Of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares
Rating: 3 Stars
I really liked the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie, and decided to read the book so I would know what happened to my favorite characters. However, I did not like the fact that the characters are portrayed differently in the movie.

Jessica
A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb
Rating: 5 Stars
I truly loved this book. The writing and plot blew me away. I almost cried when I read the end, and lines from it ran through my head all night. The only way I can explain it is: Read it, you'll love it.

Jessica
Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
Rating: 4 Stars
I read this about a day after A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY. I bought it at noon and stayed up until 3 in the morning reading. I loved it. The plot throws in new characters you love to hate, and those you just plain hate. Gemma is a brilliant character and is what every girl dreams about when she imagines herself in 1895.

Catherine
Suspense and Sensibility by Carrie Bebris
Rating: 4 Stars
An extremely good book --- it's another version of SENSE AND SENSIBILITY by Jane Austen, except this book is sort of like a sequel to PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

Jessica
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
TWILIGHT is the best book I have read in 2005-2006 so far! (And that includes Harry Potter XD ) I worship Mrs. Meyer and have sunken to reporting to her website almost everyday for updates on movie production or New Moon teasers, or chapters from Edward's perspective. What can I say? I'm changing my birthday to October....

Catherine
Sower of Tales by Rachna Gilmore

It was, overall, a pretty good book. Very captivating.

Melanie
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely love this book. If you enjoyed the movie, the next step is to read the book (if you haven't already). It brought tears to my eyes.

Melanie
Skinny Dipping by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 4 Stars
The Au Pairs are back at it again for a second summer. This is definitely a beach read, and it's fabulous for readers of the "Gossip Girl" and "A-List" series.

Nothing Can Keep Us Together by Cecily von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
This next installment in the "Gossip Girl" series was hard for me to put down. Extremely engrossing.

Melanie
Back in Black by Zoey Dean
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely love the "A-List" series. It shows what its like to be rich and famous. And who can resist dreaming about how life would be like in a glamorous world?

Melanie
Invasion of the Boy Snatchers by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 4 Stars
The next installment of "The Clique" series shows preteens what life is like when you're rich and pampered.

Melanie

Guitar Girl by Sara Manning
Rating: 5 Stars
I love all books about bands, but I loved this one in particular. It was so good that I read it all in one night. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it totally killed the dream of starting a rock band and becoming famous. Oh well, I still loved it!

Jojo
47 by Walter Mosley
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is really good. It is about a boy who is a slave on a southern cotton plantation. It's not only a really interesting book, but it also helps me to understand what African Americans actually went through.

Kirsten
Without You by Anthony Rapp
Rating: 5 Stars
Anthony Rapp's autobiography is an essential for all teens struggling with their sexuality or with the relatioships with their parent. This book is the brutally honest story of stage actor Anthony Rapp's life; it truly documents love, loss, and the musical, RENT. It's clear that Anthony's big brother 's (Adam Rapp) ability to tell a story with the use of beautiful simplicity rubbed off on Anthony. This book is so good!

Jessica
Uglies by Scott Westfield
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was amazing. I was drawn to it when I saw the cover, "'In a world of extreme beauty, everyone normal is ugly." The plot is great, and you can't help but love the characters, like Tally, Shay, and my personal favorite, David. I ended up yelling at my book when I finished, "No no don't do that!" but what can you do? Except go get the sequel ;P

Jessica
The Pretty Commitee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 3 Stars
I really did love the other "Clique" books, but for some reason I couldn't exactly well... excuse the pun --- click with this. I did enjoy the ending, but it sounded like the end of the series, but DIAL L FOR LOSER is coming out in August... so let's wait and see, shall we? But to make it better, The book was good enough to read all the way through in one sitting. Cam and Blair's relationship makes you want to cry in frustration for her... among other things...

SilverMoonFairy
Midnight Predator by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the first book I read by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and I'm in love with her work. This book was sent to me by a friend for Christmas and I couldn't put it down. You get a look-see into just about every character's past, which helps you to understand their decisions in the present. I hope to read more of this author's books in the very near future.

Rebecca
Prep: A Novel by Curtis Sittenfeld
Rating: 4 Stars
PREP by Curtis Sittenfeld is an amazing book. it deals with things a lot of teens can relate too. Not me personally, but its so good, and so hard to put down!

Midnight
In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Rating: 5 Stars
This book only took me 3 hours to read if I didn't have too many things on my list to do. This is one of the best vampire books I've ever read. If you've never read any of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes's books, you have to! She makes her stories so strong, as if you are watching it. I just love how her vampires can withstand the light and how they just fight with the strength of their minds. She describes her vampires with beauty and strength. They don't take no for an answer and are short-tempered.... The only way to destroy them is to use a witch knife, which the vampire hunters --- witches --- fuse with their power. Also, there are tristes, the ultimate vampire hunters, because if vampires were to take their blood it would be like poison to them. This is a must-read book! She has also written DEMON IN MY VIEW and more...

Go Ask Alice by Anonymous
Rating: 5 Stars
GO ASK ALICE is a real-life diary about a girl who got mixed up in drugs. The first time she took drugs, it wasn't even by choice. It was at a party in her old neighborhood where she just happened to get one of seven cokes with LSD, and she thought it was cool. Because of drugs, she ran away from home a couple of times and even ended up in a psychiatric hospital. This book taught a life lesson and I recommend anyone to read it, especially if they are, for some reason, contemplating trying drugs.

SilverMoonFairy
A Darker Crimson by Carolyn Jewel
Rating: 5 Stars
A DARKER CRIMSON is book three or four in a series called "Crimson City," and each book has a different author. I haven't read the other books --- yet --- but this one certainly won my interest. This book is perfect for anyone into vampire/demon stories and all around freaky supernatural stuff. The characters are so colorfully written and the writing is detailed and polished. It's one of the best books I've ever read!

Lily
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey
Rating: 5 Stars
This isn't a fiction book, but it's still worth reading. After reading it I am a lot more confident and I think I am an all-round better person! It's such a worthwhile read.

Lily
Checkmate by Malorie Blackman
Rating: 5 Stars
I could not put this book down! It's the amazing ending to the moving "Noughts and Crosses Trilogy." I don't cry while reading books and this trilogy made me cry several times! You must read it even if it doesn't seem like your sort of book. That's what I thought and now it's my fave!

Lily

Sarah A.
The Twentieth Wife by Indu Sundaresan

Rating: 5 Stars
This is a book that goes through the beginning of high school --- the freshmen year. Through Charlie, we discover, what many people can also relate to, how it feels to discover the first drink, the first love, the first questions on sexuality. This book is a definite must read.

The Rise and Fall of a Tenth Grade Social Climber by Lauren Mechling and Laura Moser
Rating: 3 Stars
I am really enjoying this book. Set in New York, a place I visit frequently, this book always helps me to remember my memories and relive New York experiences. Though it is eventful and unpredictable, it can seem cliched and some parts are unrealistic. Other then that, read away!

strgrl
Lindbergh by A. Scott Berg
Rating: 3 Stars
This book is a nonfiction biography, so I first thought that it would be very dull and boring and long, but even though this book is very long, it's not dull or boring. It is very interesting and it helps me with what I'm studying in my history class!

Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys by Kate Brian
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was very well written. Kate Brian uses humor, anger, love, and sadness to tell a great story. I felt what Megan felt.

Abhorsen by Garth Nix
Rating: 5 Stars
I am almost done with this book, and all in all, it is really good. I love Garth Nix's books. I own THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM, which are also really really really good. I recommend his books to everyone.

Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was great in helping explain the issues teens deal with in life, and was really great for learning about how tough it is to grow up gay. This book really helped me understand my friends, and myself, and I've reccomended it to everyone I've met....This now includes you dude!

Sal
Mimus by Lilli Thal
Rating: 4 Stars
It's a great adventure novel set in the Medieval times about a young prince whose duties are to save his whole kingdom from the wrath of the evil king, Theodo. Amongst all problems, there is the greatest one of them all --- our young prince is now a jester.

Kelly
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Rating: 5 Stars
This book really is amazing. It seems short, and serious readers could finish it in one day, but it makes you wonder about so many things. The author also has the ability to make it seem like you are in the book with the characters. I highly recommend it.

Sabena G.
The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was absolutely amazing! It was fully written through letters, e-mail, billboards, and other things. You'll find yourself feeling emotionally attached to each of the characters and the author finds a way to hit all of the sensitive spots. I have no doubt that anyone who reads this book will find it as exciting and thrilling as I did, if not more.

Maddie
Princess in Pink by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
Awesome book. I like the entire series. It's filled with comedy and romance and should be on everyone's reading list.

Ashley
Girls in Pants by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm reading GIRLS IN PANTS, which is third in Ann Brashares's great "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" series. She is a super author who knows how to get to a reader's heart. This is the last book she has written, so far, and I am sad to think this adventure will soon be over. I completely recommend this series to anyone 12+. Aside from some sexual content, this book is a good clean read that still is a sexy femine read.

Mo
The Boyfriend List by E. Lockhart
Rating: 4 Stars
I am only halfway through, but it is pretty good. I find her boy experiences very funny and entertaining, but I can also relate to her.

Lidell
The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier
Rating: 4 Stars
At first, I was puzzled as to why this was considered the very crowning of young adult literature. It had the same plot, stereotypical characters, and general setting as most corrupted prep school books. But then you get drawn into the whole idea of the plot, and the ending is like nothing you've ever read before --- and then you instantly get it. THE CHOCOLATE WAR is a damn good book, with just the right elements of fight, death, and nonconformity brought into the pages. All corrupt prep school books come from this one, definitely not the other way around.

Teen Angst? Naaah... by Ned Vizzini
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book. It kept me hooked right from the beginning. It's so hilarious, my stomach hurt from laughing in a couple of scenes!

Kailey R.
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Rating: 3 Stars
It seemed a bit juvenile and the characters were slow. She tried to make the plot intense, but I personally didn't really feel it. It was close to being good, but not quite there for me. Maybe readers in middle school or younger would enjoy it more.

Kailey R.
Night by Elie Wiesel
Rating: 5 Stars
This is way intense, but amazing. Wiesel's retelling of the Holocaust is powerful and moving. I think everyone needs to read it. It's not featured in Oprah's book club for nothing :)

Rating: 5 Stars
This is my favorite Meg Cabot book. I loved that she took an ancient story and transfromed it into her own. I loved it and recommend it greatly!

Jaci from Mississinewa Schools
Teen Love series by Kimberly Kirberger
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a good book. It really inspired me and i know it could inspire you to. I really know a lot about love and relationships, and how not to be all depressed for a while. It's OK to be depressed, but not over a guy, unless you really love him. But, you have to tell that person that you like him or write him a letter if you're scared, but first --- face your fears and talk to him. You'll never know if he likes you unless you confront him first. I hope you read this book. It inspired me and I know it will inspire you too.

Kailey R.
Emma Frost by Karl Bollers
Rating: 4 Stars
"Emma Frost" is a manga series and I'm hooked! It has really interesting storylines that are a bit mature at times, but it's about the teenage years of the X-Men's White Queen. It's cool.

Ana Lisa
The Water Mirror by Kai Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
I've just started this book and it looks like a really good fantasy. If you like Harry Potter, this will probably be good for you too.

The Hole by Guy Burt
Rating: 5 Stars
A thrilling, psychological read. Not as good, in my opinion, as Burt's other novel, SOPHIE. That's my favorite, everyone should read it. But both are creepy and mysterious and kind of awe-inspiring.

It's OK, I Wearing Really Big Knickers! by Louise Rennison
Rating: 5 Stars
Another (GREAT!) story of Georgia and her crazy world! Literally, I have read it six times! I also found one of her other books in my school library, and I enjoyed it so much I demanded for one for christmas (which I got :) ) But what happens to Georgia is amazing, romantic and (most of all!) funny! It will make you laugh so much that you'll pee your pants (Thats not literal!).

Caitlin
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved it. The romance and adventure is just to die for --- the way one girl falls in love with a man, and her sister marries him; a girl who wishes she were a boy, and everything is just wonderful.

Caitlin
Both Sides of Time by Caroline B. Cooney
Rating: 5 Stars
I was absolutely in love with this book. The way Caroline B. Cooney twists the series around so that instead of Annie traveling trough time to Strat, it's Strat's sister, Devonny, traveling through time to Annie's brother, Tod.

Simone
How Could You Do It, Diane? by Stella Pevsner
Rating: 4 Stars
This book keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's exciting and it teaches you to love more.

Vanessa
Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice
Rating: 5 Stars
A very good followup to the "Vampire" series. Lestat is seen again in this book, but not on a major scale. This time it's another young vampire named Quinn who tells his story, and included in this is the fact that he is part of the Mayfair family, which is the family of witches that Anne Rice writes about in another series. I recommend this book to everyone. I personally love Anne Rice and I know you will too when you read about this interesting character named Quinn Goblin.

TTYL by Lauren Myracle

The Children of Willesden Lane by Mona Golabeck and Lee Cohen
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the true story of Lisa Jura, an amazing pianist living in Vienna during WWII. She leaves on the Kindertransport to a life in England. An AMAZING book!!!!!!!

Amber
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Rating: 4 Stars
This book took a twist on the modern story of THE WIZARD OF OZ. It tells the story of Elphaba, or the Wicked Witch of the West --- her birth, her death, and everything in between. It is geared more toward adult readers though, I think. It was a great read!

Boombie
Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
Rating: 5 Stars
This is definitely a great sequel to Brey's first book, A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY!! It's one of my favourite books and I can't wait to find out what happens to Gemma and her friends.

Anshdeep
The Cay by Theodore Taylor
Rating: 4 Stars
THE CAY is about an older black man and a white kid who are trapped on a boat and suddenly see an island. They stay there and hope that somebody will eventually find them.

Sana
The Dating Game: Can True Love Survive High School by Natalie Standiford
Rating: 4 Stars
It's a great book and its easy to read in one sitting. The characters don't just make you like them or dislike them right away. They remind you of friends and make you think more deeply about them. The four friends and what they go through life and their desires are all interesting and different, but somehow vaguely the same. This is a fun book and it's written to humor and keep you hooked.

The Realm Of Possiblity by David Levithan

Karen :-P
The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler
Rating: 5 Stars
I really liked this book!! First I thought it was kind of boring, but you know what they say, "Don't judge a book by it's cover." I was happy I did get it. The story was about this obese teen girl until something happens to her that makes her want to change.

Caitlin
All-American Girl by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was charming and funny. It's about a girl named Sam that saves the President from assasination and eventually falls in love with his son. Anyone would love this book. At times it is just laugh-out-loud funny.

Ana Lisa
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the best book I've read in a while. It was so good, I could barely put it down! I finished the whole book in one day. It's a totally great book (for girls, at least).

Tory
The Trixie Belden Series by Julie Campell
Rating: 3 Stars
If you're in between novels or just looking For a quick fix for your book fetish, I recommend the "Trixie Belden" series. They are like Nancy Drew novels, but more realistic because Trixie isn't rich but works for everything she receives and accomplishes. They are actually really old and the authors change if you get that far in the series, but the first book, TRIXIE BELDEN AND THE SECRET OF THE MANSION, shouldn't be hard to find. Trixie will surely curb your mystery cravings.

Kel
Overnight Sensation by Trish Cook
Rating: 5 Stars
I think teenagers would really relate to this book. I loved the characters, who are all unique, but still familiar. I would definitely recommend this book. I loved Trish's style of writing! It's very witty, with lots of music references --- what a great sequel to SO LYRICAL.

Caitlin
For All Time by Caroline B. Cooney
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was the last in the "Time" series by Caroline B. Cooney. I fell in love with the series just as the main characters had fallen in love even though an entire century seperated them. It was filled with such a passion that I could not put it down.

Cathie
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Rating: 3 Stars
It was a pretty good book, which is not suprising since it's by Meg Cabot.

Katee
One Of Those Hideous Books Where the Mother Dies by Soyna Sones
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is so full of emotion that's portrayed so accurately and beautifully that you almost feel that the author is describing what you feel.

Karen :-P
Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya
Rating: 5 Stars
If I could give this manga (Japanese comics whoever don't know!), series a higher rating I would give it a hundred!!! This is my favorite manga because it's funny, with little romance. It's sad, happy --- everything!! In each book there's a moral and these books actually made me cry :-( Every anime fan should read this series!!!

Graycat13
The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
Rating: 3 Stars
This is the 2nd book in the "His Dark Materials Trilogy." I thought it was an okay book. The ending was a real cliffhanger. If you want to read a really good book by this same author, I'd suggest the "Sally Lockhart" books instead.

Nix
All American Girl by Meg Cabot
Rating: 2 Stars
I wasn't impressed on the story because I read something more cooler than this online. It's in fictionpress. Find AND THEN SHE MET THE PRESIDENT'S SON. It's certainly much better than this.

The Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson

Circus of the Darned by Katie Maxwell
Rating: 2 Stars
I did not enjoy this book. I swear do not pick it up. The first book, GOT FANGS?, was actually quite good, but this sequel was not what I expected. The collaboration was pretty well done, but the main character was different. Her priorites had changed and it seemed that the book was going nowhere fast. If you want to take a chance, go for it, just don't expect to be too interested in this book. But, hey, it could be just me.

Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo by Obert Skye
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was actually really good. When I saw the title, which sounds almost juevenile, I didn't want to read this book, but the cover compelled me to read it and I was really surprised. Leven is a boy who has a horrible life living with his uncle and aunt (he is a orphan). Winter, a girl who lives with a horrible mother, thinks there is something more to her life. Both come together, along with a creature named Clover, searching for the Geth --- the King of Foo, before the evil Sabine destroys Foo. I am seriously looking forward to the next one, LEVEN THUMPS AND THE WHISPERED SECRET.

D*R*E
A Child Named It by David Pelzer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is just the best. David Pelzer takes you back to his childhood when he was only four years old. Being in a 4-part series, this is the first book that contains his life from 4 to 12 years. David goes through the torments, beatings, and every other unimaginable thing for a first grader to go through. But, that's not the worst part... all of this is coming right from his own mother!!! Being basically treated like a slave, David's name goes from David to "It" in the house, and the acknoledgement of his appearance goes from 100 to none. This book is the best and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to know how it feels to be abandoned by your own family.

Ib
The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
It was great. I couldn't stop reading it because of the plot and detail that Stanek puts in. Also, the way that he switches points of view was terrific. The characters involved made me think that they were actually there from the detail and the way the the main characters related to them during the story. You should definitely read this book if you haven't already.
