WORD OF MOUTH

bookworm1224@hotmail.com
I read Don't look behind you, by Lois Duncun, which was a really good thriller book. I read Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. It was a really good fantasy book. I also read the Creek which was a good mystery book!

DixieChick5700@aol.com
I'm reading Stranger with my Face by Lois Duncan. It's really suspensful and freaky.

lycheechew@insightbb.com
The Red Badge of Courage is so real, it makes you feel as if you really ARE the young soldier during the Civil War, and that all his feelings, his thoughts, are almost yours... I recommend it not only for that reason, but also because you can learn much about the struggles of the war, of fear; and the author, Steven Crane, paints such vivid pictures of every schene, sucking you into the reality of the boy's world. The battles, the camps, the bravery of all the soldiers. Inspiring, vivid, deep- you gotta read it.

UnknownSender@UnknownDomain
right know im reading lady of the forest its basically a story of Robin Hood and Maid Marian i recommend it to anyone who likes a good read and is interested in the storys about Robin Hood.

I recommed reading "The Chocolate War" by Robert Cormier. I haven't finished reading this book yet, but so far I really like it. ****

aknightsgoldenrose@att.net
I want everyone to read my fav book called Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith. It was originally published as two books Crown Duel and Court Duel. It is all about this barefooted countess and her fight to dethrown an evil king. Part two is about what happens to her after the king is killed. She has to go to court and learn to fight in a whole new way... with words. It is an excellent book that is fast paced and funny. You'll love it trust me!

newfoundgirly01@yahoo.com
I just read Gingerbread by Rachel Cohn, It was quite a funny book, Cyd Charrisse is definately someone I'd love to be friends with. Her comments had me laughing outloud. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars on basis of it could have been longer, but Rachel Cohn did wrap the ending up quite nicely. :-)
I also read This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. This Lullaby was a wonderfully beautiful book about a girl named Remy who has a time limit set on dating, like she only dates guys for a month or less. Remy does not believe in love and is cynical of it because her mom has remarried so many times. Remy, however meets a boy who changes all of this. I highly recommend this book, it was beautifly written. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

andrea_williams_07@hotmail.com
Right now I'm reading Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo. It is an excellent book, even though I haven't finished it yet. I would read Eragon-I want to get it from the library but there's such a long list. I read the first seven pages in school (my friend got it; she left-then she got mad at me for taking it) and I was hooked. It was great.

meghann_b@yahoo.com
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman is a phenominal good read. I recomend it strongly to vampire fans, diabetics and teens because those are the people it will reach most strongly, as the main character is a spunky diabetic teen with a slight vampire obsession. A real eye-opener that will teach you a different way of thinking!!!

kottonkandygyrrl@yahoo.com
The Nanny Diaries is the best book I have read this year. The main character is an NYU student who takes the job as a nanny for the "X" family and ends up taking care of not only the child. Grayer, but the entire family and their troubles. Juggling schoolwork, the husbands affair with another woman, party arrangements, dinner, schoolwork, and the hot guy next door, she barely has time to breathe. She rarely gets paid and is treated like dirt. A funny book if you have ever known people who are so into themselves they forget about all the people around them that really matter. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!!!

m4trv3@aol.com
The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches is what I'm reading. I couldn't put it down! I thought it was a really good book. It was very intersting since the main chacter was a bad guy, instead of a good guy. They also had elves. It was excellent.

raptorbpw@earthlink.net
11th Hour. It was written by an 18 year-old named Bradley Warshauer--a teen himself!--and it's a great read for anyone who even remotely likes thrillers. And even if you DON'T like thrillers, if you like sports, you'll love it.

A rookie football player gets injured in practice, and the owner of the team has him genetically engineered. He turns into some sort of a super-player on the field--but starts losing his mind off of it. And at the same time there's a series of murders related to the procedure that a couple of detectives must solve...before it's too late.

All three "Lord of the Rings" are the best books, including "The Hobbit".
"Homecoming" by Cynthia Voigt is a really good book! It's so deep... it's hard to explain- you'd have to read the book yourself to know.
The "Darren Shan" series, by Darren Shan, is one of the best vampire trilogies I've ever read. I can't wait for the rest of the books to come out!
"Holes" by Louis Sachar is by far, a classic... the movie is as good as it is, because Louis Sachar actually wrote the script!
And last of all (I saved one of the best for last) is Wind Singer books, by William Nicholson. It's a fantasy, but it is also a book about a family who faces many challenges. I would give this book three thumbs up!

melody4raining@msn.com

This book is about this a girl named Jessica who is hit by lightning when best friend decides they need exercise and should walk home from school one afternoon. fried_phish@yahoo.com
I would recommend The Gospel According To Larry. It was a great book that makes you think of teen branding (brand-names)and the materialism/consumerism of society today. It also addresses typical teen issues such as frienship, crushes, trust, and high-school. I just read "Murder in Three Acts" by Agatha Christie. At a party, a lovable minister falls dead and not even Hercule Poirot, the world-famous detective, can find a motive - until another man who was at the same party falls dead in the exact same way. Could the first murder be totally random occurence? Five Stars for the plot twists!

roses_are_red_459@hotmail.com
I am reading, "Invitation to the game". It's a little old, and i discovered it after searching the shelves of the library with determination for ages! It is set in the future, when robots do everything and even have advantage over humans for jobs, housing and skill. It is told throught the eyes of Lisse, who has been made unemplyed and sent to live in a designated area, with a few friends from her school, for the rest of her life on very little money. They soon discover that the quiet and 'freaky' town comes alive at night.
Then Lisse gets invited to the game, but exactly what it is she doesn't know...
"Invitation to the game" by Monica Hughes

I loved the lord of the rings series by J.R.R Tolkin. He's a magnificant writer! I couldnt have had a better picture in my mind if I wrote these books myself. Its a book that not too many people could understand. To read and comprehend these books I'd say that you at least have to read at a 7th grade level. IF YOU LIKE HARRY POTTER YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THESES BOOKS. I liked them so much i plan to read them over again. These books are 5 star books and cant be rated any lower! i recomend these books for anyone who has a sense of adventure.

The Fearless books by Francine Pascal are so awesome. They are about a girl named Gaia who was born without the fear gene. Her father and mother are both CIA agents, so she was trained from very young how to do almost every form of martial arts on the planet. Only her mother was killed by her father's evil twin Loki (a.k.a. Oliver)and Tom (Gaia's father) left her with foster parents to keep her safe from Loki. That was when she was 12. The story picks up when she is 17. If you like books with a little bit of romance, a little bit of C4 and Uzis, and more kick butt action that you could ever want, the Fearless series is SOOOOO for you! I loved them!
****On a scale from 1-10, they are about 10.5****
