***** (5 stars)

Teenreads,
I am currently reading a book called REMOTE MAN. An Australian boy comes to the US with his mother. He meets a neighbor boy and together they track a criminal who sells exotic animals on the black market. If you like protecting animals and the environment, e-mail messages as part of the dialogue, adventures, or just plain craziness, you'll probably enjoy this book. 5 STARS

Lately I have been reading some Jane Austen books. I finished Persuasion and I would say that it is a pretty good book. I guess I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Right now I am reading Mansfield Park, and it is really good. The plot took a little while to get started, because everything was being set up, but it still wasn't boring. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

I've been reading Fingerprints by Melinda Metz. The first one is Gifted Touch followed by Haunted, Trust Me, Secrets, Betryaed, Revealtions and Payback. There's only seven in the series and she's not doing any more which sucks but hey that's life. It's about a girl Rae who reads people fingerprints. The main cast is Rae, fingerprint reader, Anothyher hot friend, Yana, her best friend (who she meet at an asylum, by the way) and Marcus who dumped Rae and now want's t get back toghther. Four and three-quaters out of five. READ THEM ASAP. P.S. E-mail the authoer asking her to write more. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!

Lilblueyez715@aol.com
A Ring of Endless Light by Madeline L'Engle is one of the most amazing books I have ever read! Normally I'm not much of a science fiction fan, but this one definitely made me a fan, at least of Madeline L'Engle. I rate it 4 1/2 stars, only because some parts are a little ambiguous.

butrfly50@adelphia.net
Lord of the Rings Triliogy- ***** (5 stars) If you like the movie then you'll love the books. Action, fanasty, love, magic, will keep everyone entertained.

After You'd Gone by Maggie O'Farrell- ***** (5 stars) Beautiful written story about a family and love. A girl who's mom has a past she doesn't know about, falls in love, with a tragic ending.

joyciek@earthlink.net
THE GREAT GOOD THING- this is a great book that is some what confuseing but very imaginative and fun.id give this book 4 stars out of 5. this books about a princess who lives in a storybook. the book is burned in a fire and the characters move and and live in a girls mind and visit her in her dreams until the girl, now a woman, writes the book again.i really liked this book because it was so much like a dream.

I WAS A TEENAGE FAIRY-i really loved this book about a teenage model who lives in LA and a fairy named Mab. mad and barbie (the model) become great friends, and mab helps barbie find strength in herself and teaches love. i liked how this book added fairy tale qualitys (mab) to modern day subjects(drugs,LA,sex, ect.) id give this book a 5.

YOU REMIND ME OF YOU- this was a great book written in verse. this book is about a buliumic girl and her boyfriend that she loves. he cares for her while she recovers and then she cares for him after he recovers from attemting sucicide. this book its basicaly about love so if u dont like thoose kinds of books this is not for u.

Lucy Maud Montgomery is the absolute best author that ever lived. Amazing description and realism is present in every poem, story and book that she has ever written. I would love to read a book about what inspired this author to achieve the greatness that she accomplished.

orangemango26@hotmail.com
I am reading Alan Watt's "Diamond Dogs." At first I looked at the title and didn't think that the book would be interesting, but now I can't put it down. There are so many twists and turns in the book that you wonder what is happening. Neil (a 17 yr. old) accidently hits and kills another student from his school while returning from a party. Neil's father is the sherrif of the town. There are several twists in this story. I'm not quite finnished with it, but I would recommed it to anyone.

lizkyle@msn.com
I just finished reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. I thought that it was really good. I also like all of her other books, especially Pride and Prejudice. I don't think that you can go wrong reading any of her books. I would give all of them *****. Other books I would recommend are Sarah Dessen's books. Especially Someone Like You and This Lullaby.

SweetP8983@aol.com
The books I would recommend are:
All the Princess Diaries books by Meg Cabot - they are great. Dont worry if you've seen the movie and didnt like it. The books are so much better. You have to read them.
Confessions of a Shopoholic by Sophie Kinsella - really funny, a must read
Shopoholic takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella- ditto
The Gossip Girl Books by von Ziesgar - very fun, a little trashy. You wont be able to put it down.
The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot - a really great read, it is all in email form, but it still has a great plot.
All American Girl by Meg Cabot - just as good as the princess Diaries. Very funny adn suprisingly realistic.
Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging (and the others in the series) by Louise Rennison - these books are hilarious and very amusing.
the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling - who isnt reading these. They're great.

Doot65@aol.com
I just read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. It's a story about four different girls and they make a pledge to share a pair of second-hand jeans over the course of a summer. The story follows the journey of the pants to each girl and her corresponding adventures. It's a great book!

caley_redd@yahoo.com
At the moment I am reading more books and series than I have the time and patience to write about. So I will write about the most recent one I finished: Hope was Here by Joan Bauer. It's a Newbery Honor Book and one of my personal favorites. It centers around Hope Yancey and her Aunt Addie who has raised her. It has believable, quirky charaters and an interesting, fast moving plot. I'd give it five out of five stars and would recommend it to anyone.

la_la_la_prettykitty@hotmail.com
I have recently finish After the Death of Anna Gonzales by Terri Fields. It is a thought provoking story with different insights about the death of Anna and death itself. It is a must read and long remebered when finish reading. My other favorite books include Life is Funny by E.R. Frank. The book looks into the lives of eleven different teenagers and their problems in life. A Yellow Raft in Blue Water by Michael Dorris is about the lives of two native american women and one half black, half native american teenager. The first section, Rayona, is about the life of Rayona, a black-native american girl, seen through her eyes. The second section, Christine, is seen through the eyes of Christine, Rayona's mom. The last section, most revealing and interesting is entitled Ida. Ida, Christine's "mom" is about the l! ife of Ida seen through her own eyes. The three books are a must read. Once you have read them they will never leave your thoughts. Out of five, i would give these stories and 10 because they are that good.

I’m reading the following books:A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux- romance fans will LOVE this one! Hate to admit it, but this novel kept me up all night, sobbing and sighing. It has a great plot; Mrs. Deveraux’s the best! I’ve read some of her other books too…be sure to check out The Summerhouse and High Tide, also written by her. I give Knight in Shining Armor four stars, because I really wish it came with a sequel! Fearless by Francine Pascal- I know it’s kinda late to start reading these now, but who cares? These books are the best. I promise you you’ll be completely obsessed with them, as I am. So far, I’m only on #6, but I have to keep on reading them! They’re not the most realistic books I’ve read, but then again, most books aren’t’! Five stars.Daughter of the Moon by Lynne Ewing- You know how I said that Fearless was an awesome series? Well, so are these! Right now, I’m still waiting for the ninth book, so all you p.p. who haven’t started reading these yet, start now! Three stars, because some parts left me bored.Danger.com by Jordan Cray- When I went around searching for these books in the web, it was surprising how few p.p. knew about these awesome books! They’re not really a series, since the stories and character’s aren’t the same in every one, but each of them are filled with suspense, mystery, romance, and occasionally murder. They’re about teenagers who stumble upon really weird and dangerous stuff through the web, and they have to work their way out of them. My favorites are #7 Most Wanted and #9 Shiver. Here’s some advice: stay away from Bad Intent, especially of you don’t like bad endings. 5 stars.

keepastar_aliz@yahoo.com
*****I’ve been reading The GOLDEN COMPASS by Paul Pullman and TO KILL A MOKINGBIRD by Harper Lee. They’re both books that I’ve been putting off, but finally decided to try them. Two words: READ THEM!!!!! They are some of the best books ever written. The suspense, humor, and wit of both books just draws you in till the last page. Five stars for both books!
