Official Rules for Teenreads.com’s Grab Bag of Books Contest

ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to all legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 13 years of age or older. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Teenreads.com or The Book Report, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.

HOW TO ENTER: The contest is open from 9AM on November 17, 2009 thru 11:59PM on December 14, 2009. While the contest is posted on Teenreads.com, you can enter by filling out this form.

All entries must be received by Monday, December 14, 2009.

HOW TO WIN: The total number of eligible entries received determines odds of winning. From all eligible entries received, Teenreads.com will randomly select five (5) winners on or about Tuesday, December 15, 2009. The winners will receive one (1) copy of each of the following books: AIRHEAD by Meg Cabot, BEING NIKKI: An Airhead Novel by Meg Cabot, SHADOWLAND: The Immortals, Book 3 by Alyson Noel, and TEMPTED: A House of Night Novel by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast (Retail Value: $62.96). In the event the Potential Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she (or, if the winner is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill testing mathematical question to be administered by mail to receive the prize.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY/RESERVED RIGHTS: Neither the Sponsor, nor the parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, nor the promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web Site or otherwise violating these rules. The Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
