Cool New Books for October

It's not easy being a teen. Although you may feel like an adult and wish to be more independent, your family and friends often treat you as if you are still a kid. The pressure of school and other responsibilities is there all the time as you begin to seriously think about what the future may hold --- in your academic, professional and personal lives. Whew! Just typing that was exhausting.

This month's roundup of cool new books includes titles (both fiction and nonfiction) that will appeal specifically to teenagers who are or will be confronting such issues. We're also featuring fantasy and suspense novels, a new Angel adventure, and the latest installment in the popular Gossip Girl series.
