Big Mouth and Ugly Girl by Joyce Carol Oates. This is a great book that explains a lot of the tough issues high schoolers go through and some that most of us probably will never have to face. But it now has the honor of being called my favorite book. =)

The Luckiest Girl In the World by Steven Levenkron(I think that's how you spell it) This book is so depressing, but a good read all at the same time. It's about a girl who cuts her self. This is a very important topic that should be put out to teachers and other students. This is why i would do a book report on it. People have no idea how much this actually goes on in the real world. People should definetly read this book just to get a little taste of some people's world.

Coldfire By Dean Koontz. Koontz's books always captivate me in a way no other author can. He writes so wonderfully that even the most terrifying moment has a certain incredible beauty to it. In this book especially. I couldn't put down the book once I started reading it. I would love to share this book, and my love for it, with as many people as I can, and a book report is just one way to do it.

I think I would most like to write a book report about the Fearless series by Francine Pascal. I have read most of the series so far, except for the two newest. The book I would most like to write a book report about is the collection of short stories, Places I Never Meant to Be, edited by Judy Blume, because of the powerful messages inherent in each story. Also, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Demon in my Veiw or Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and maybe Interveiw with the Vampire by Anne Rice because they are powerful books that never cease to amaze and inspire me with my own writing.

This book covers so many interesting and provoking thoughts on the future that I find fascinating and informative. Things that are happening in our governmant or environment or society constantly remind me of that book, even though I read it about a year ago. I would LOVE to do a book report on one of the Harry Potter books. They are amazing stories with characters I fell in love with immediately. All the stories are different, and always have something going on, so you won't get bored. I've read all of these books at least seven times each, so I would be able to write a great book report.

Another book I would like to do a report on would be one of the books from the gossipgirl series. These books are wonderful. They talk about everything a girl wants to be: rich and beautiful. The characters in this book are so interesting to read about, and all so different. The only problem with writing a report about them might be that they would be a little bit inappropriate for school, heh.

I just finished reading a book called Izzy, Willy Nilly. It's an awesome book about a girl who gets in a tragic car accident when a boy was driving her home(the boy was drunk, might I add). Izzy has to have her right leg amputated, and she isn't sure she will ever be the same again. She is right. her friends prove to be people who aren't great people like the new person she discovered to be a true friend, Rosamunde. Izzy's long road to recovery ends up making her a stronger person.
