aliciareynolds@lycos.com
I'd like to see more current authors in libraries. My library doesn't carry them. I love The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches by Robert Stanek. I had to buy it and its 4 books so far so that cost a lot
silversnake80@hotmail.com
better teen books, new cds, better comics
lilmara0312@aol.com
yes because there are young adults and then adult books but teens have to hunt for something that isn't too easy but still interesting to read
katie@jeffbristol.com
Probably more books, and more teen booklists that reccomend good books. And a computer right next to the section so you can look up books and not have to go in the adult or kid section.
UnknownSender@UnknownDomain
More selection!!! Every teen section I have seen has had such a limited selection.

I wouls like to see more V. C. Andrews books. Her books are really good evern though they are fiction. I relate to them really well. I never liked to read till I picked up one of her books then i couldn't put it down.
UnknownSender@UnknownDomain
i think that you need to add more fun and creative books
TBRAMSCH4@aol.com
I'd like to see copies of the new YA novel NIGHT OF THE CORN MAIDEN by Cindy Bramscher. The book also has an awesome interactive website at www.cindybbooks.com. Thanks.
UnknownSender@UnknownDomain
more of the classics
smileila@msn.com
I would like to see newer books because whenever I have a book in mind that I want to check out, it's usually not there. I woild like to see newer and more recent books sooner.
summmergirl31@aol.com
I would like to see the Daughters Of the Moon series by Lynn Ewing in my library.
ElvishRyoko@aol.com
This is no offense to anyone who has lost someone close to them, but I would like to see less teen books where someone, a parent, sibling, or friend of the main character, has died. There are just way too many books like that, the subject is being worn out. Is that the only way they can make a teenager act "depressed" or be "moody" and have a reason? Does the main character always have to be depressed or moody? We aren't all like that, at least not all the time. But there are several other plots that they could use that have been left untouched. More issues that need to be written about, instead of just this one being abused. I'd like to see some more original books, instead of going to the bookstore or library and for every other book I pick up being like what I've described. I'd also love to see more new fantasy books, and poetry books, written by teens or not written by teens. I like new poetry, but I think we should have more opportunities to read classic poems!
kelechi6@juno.com
I would like to see more Suspense thrillers like R.L. Stine. Books that are exciting too kids. I would like the atmosphere to be calm. Also maybe some book clubs and discounts.
jjgrl55@aol.com
More humorous books!!!! I am tired of having all these books that are supposed to teach you a lesson about life or are just trying to get you to cry!!!! I want to read something that will make me laugh, in a sorta dry, mature way, books like Sloppy Firsts or even the Georgis Nicolson series.
easlaymaker@yahoo.com
I would like to see comfortable chairs and books that aren't like all of the other teen stories. Sometimes I feel like I am reading the same story again and again!! I would also like to see more classics, because there aren't very many at all.
hcfuzzy@comcast.net
The bookstore in downtown doesnt have a good teen section. I dont think they even know what teen readers are? I have to ask them for every popular book. The books I wished they have most are Kingdoms & Elves of the Reaches by Robert Stanek. I have bought the first book but I had to borrow the next book from a friend. I think the bookstores should have more selection for teen books.
latreasebrooks109@yahoo.com
A book about peer pressure and about being judge off what you wear.
Theyazzy@aol.com
Books by Philip Pullman because there isn't any books in there by him.
carin_bvb@yahoo.com
i want to see a book which made for us to make us love ourselves however it is. this book will tell us the importance for having a faih to ourselves.
laura_redmond@hotmail.com
More books! Finding novels for people our age is very hard. In my library there is only a small section and they are all really old. I would also like to see more books that incorparate the light reading of summer novels with good english. I love reading, people have to realize that maybe teenagers aren't reading more because they aren't given the oppurtinity. It is taken for granted that we all prefer sparknotes.com!
lelebelle@aol.com
More teens! I'm usually the only one there. It's sad, really. More books would be good, too. The teen section hardly exists. More books and more people to read them. That's what I'd like to see.
sonyab@msn.com
More books! I love fantasy. I want to see more good fantasy like Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches. When I first started reading Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches, I thought "Wow! What a great book!" And I still thought so after reading it. You'll love the main characters, and you'll love the story. There is nothing in this book that you won't love.
The way the author tells the story makes you wish that it'll never end.

I would like to see stuff that tells you about sex and other things because sometimes parents dont tell you about that stuff even though you hear half of the stuff from uncle, aunts, and friends.
all@seiu99.net
well, i would like to books that invole us, teenagers. we don't always find books that are intersting
eiman_2000@hotmail.com

chantal_hi@hotmail.com
new-er teen reads. My libary has old old books and I want to see the new-er books in there.
But really I like to see more witch books I don't see many in my local book store and I'd like too.
If anyone knows of some good witch books email me. As the subject of your email type Witch then I just don't delete it. Thankx
lilessie53@yahoo.com
Books on teen substance abuse, becuase it is a serious topic affecting our generation and needs to be addressed. one of the best ways i see this happening is thru a book.
tritrouble@aol.com
I'd like to see books that don't treat me like I'm either a 10 year old, a overly hormonal teenager or a bored housewife. Author's should stop 'dumbing down' to reach a reader market made lazy by lack of interest. Why not raise the bar instead? Write an interesting story, be compelling, captivate your reading audience -- don't butcher the english language just to make it an easy read. If it's really a good story, we'll read it anyway (See harry potter, which even my dad loves!) - and maybe even learn something from it.
SongOfTheSouth16@aol.com
In the teen area of the library I would like to see more new books. The ones at our library have been there awhile and it seems as if we seldom get any new books of our own.
www.Burturtle@yahoo.com
I would like to see more Star Wars Novels, recently I have been reading Them they have caught my attention and I think many other teens would enjoy them
SeptemberPunk47@aol.com
I'd really like to see more teenage versions of classic books. It can sometimes very difficult to read a classic, especially if it's in Old English. A teenage version would help a reader to understand a classic more fully, and perhaps when they finish the teenage version, they will be ready to read the real thing.
midnightsun458@aol.com
I would love it if my local library decided to shelve more graphic novels in the teen area. I have happened to chance a glance through a few of them and have found them to be quite interesting, especially since they are a whole new thing to me. Since the teen area in our library is rather small, I'd also like to see that fact change somewhat too.
Love2read885@aol.com
I'd like to see more historical fictional books. I love this genre and I've read nearly every single one that my local library and bookstores have (they don't have a big selection) I keep seeing all these teen historical books online, but whenever I go to either place, they never ever have them.
XxProphetessxX@hotmail.com
I'd love to see more book series, such as Fearless and Sweep, on the library shelves.
sparklekatie11@yahoo.com
fewer sweet valley high and buffy-style books! i can't stand books based on tv series, rather than the other way round. what i would like to see...hmm, probably more diana wynne jones and tamora pierce, they aren't appreciated enough in my opinion!
mandifreak@msn.com
i, for one, would like to see more books about DIFERENT types of religeons. i mean, they dont have to be like, really in depth or anything, but you know, just the basics "for teens", so we can discover more about others and such.
richgirl972001@yahoo.com
more teen books with interesting characters who have different interests. like i just read this really cool book called blue is for nightmares and the main character is this wiccan girl at an all girls prep school and shes been having all these nightmares that her bestfrend is gonna be killed in a week. so, she uses magick to try and get the nightmares to tell her more stuff. its really cool and i loved the main character because she reminded me of myself, like she wasn't this perfect girl or anything. she had boy problems and parent problems and school stuff that everybody else has. i'd also like more books on fantasy with different worlds and intersting worlds.
RaeLi@mywicca.com
more non-fiction books. Hopefully something that has to do with something other than puberty and teen sob stories. Give me mythology, religion (more diverse selection would be appreciated here) even history. Salem witch trials, civil war, etc. My library has 2 isles of "yound adult" books, that's pathetic.
