I would be friends with Jennifer 'notso' darling from the book Sloppy First (and the now sequal Second Helpings) becuase , from what I read , about her and also just about the entire book , I was in her head . And she was athlete(like i was) and then she decided that she didn't want to (not to mention injury) . Shes a pretty good student (could help me) and shes real about things . Shes your typical teen and she, makes decisions just like the rest of us have to . And she went through lot of things that I could understand , and that were actually REAL . I think I could also be friends with her , becuase shes not your average teen age girl , shes cool and different. And she is a writer like me . I think these sook(s) were awsome books and defanite must for all teen girls!

Ron Weasly from Harry Potter's books.....we both are completly the same...well except the "being poor" thing.
TigerFeatherz@aol.com
I have a lot in common with Melinda from L.H. Anderson's Speak. Her
friends left her because she did something unexpected. They never bothered to find out if there was a reason for the change. I've had very similar experiences and have even dealt with them in some of the same ways. I read the book twice because I felt such a strong connection with Melinda.

i could be friends with holden caulfield from catcher in the rye by salinger because he is so lonely and misunderstood. i think he needs a friend. i sympathise with him.

THe book character I most relate to has got to be Mia Thermopolis from the Princess Diaries. Besides the fact that she is a princess and I'm not, I can completely relate to her. She has a lot of qualities that I have to. I haven't missed a single Princess Diaries book, due to finding myself having so much in common with Mia.

I think it would have to be Guthrie from "Bloomability"(by Sharon Creech). Guthrie was so fun and diverse and was the kind of person that drew people to him. He was always positive and happy and I hope that there are people like him in real life. I would like to be more like Guthrie but I don't know how he does it. Guthrie and I would definitely be the best of friends because we're both interesting and friendly. Guthrie is the kind of person that speaks his mind. I would definitely want a friend like Guthrie. Who wouldn't?

I can see myself being friends with Anne Frank. She is corageous and not afraid to do what she thinks is right. She's not afraid of the obstacles that may come in front of her. Thats what I like in a friend. Doing what is right, and not afraid of challenges you night have to take.
JEL17@aol.com
I would definitely want to be friends with Suze(Susan) from the "Shopaholic" book series. She's Becky's best friend, and is always there willing and ready to help out in any and every way that she can. She comes across as a great best friend and someone you can depend on.

I can certainly picture myself being friends with Serena from Gossip Girl.
DysfnctnlAngl@aol.com
I could see my self being friends with Gaia from Fearless. I think it's because she has is a really straightforward person and she doesn't care what people think of her. I am just the opposite but I think we would be great friends because although I'm shy, I have a sarcastic side to me.
Hutsonj@aol.com
I LIKE RON WEASLY FROM HARRY POTTER BECAUSE HE IS HANDSOME. AND HE ACTS LIKE ME
GCJoElCrAzYGC@aol.com
I think I could see myself being really good friends with Fred and George from the Harry Potter series. They are always getting into some sort of trouble or are behind some kind of prank or practical joke. In a way they're kind of like me, always looking for some sort of trouble to get into and a great practical joker!
XtracrunchyAnn@aol.com
I could probably see myself being friends with Ron Weasely from Harry Potter because he is so easy going and is always the type of person I could see myself being friends with. I don't have a lot of friends who are guys, but he reminds me of my one close guy friend.
juliamonaco@hotmail.com
I could totally see myself as Georgia from the Angus series. She is so hilarious. Her sarcasm and wit are a total laugh and the way she acts is sometimes a mirror of my own behaviour! Her best friend, Jas is such an airhead and is totally oblivious to everything outside of her relationship with her boyfriend Tom, which, scary to say, is the same way that I see some of my close friends. *sigh* BOYS!!
Dec11blond@aol.com
i can see myself as vicky in the left behind books. they are so good!
smashing_ali@yahoo.com
I could see myself being friends with various book characters, but mostly with:
-Holden Caulfield from "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D.Salinger
-Harry Potter, all the books, by J.K.Rowling
-Winston from "1984" by George Orwell
-Mia in "The Princess Diaries" books by Meg Cabot
-Melinda in "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson

I am Ender Wiggin from Ender's Game. I am intelligent and have been isolated from my peers by my intelligence and my teachers since the second grade, much like Ender. Also like Ender, I am an introvert, always looking to see how I got where I am. I know that I have a few friends but that they view me as their editor, teacher, tutor, and leader, not like they view each other. Ender's Game is the story of my life as a gifted student. I am Ender Wiggin.

The one character from a book I can see myself being friends with would be Lani Garver from What Happened to Lani Garver. I think he would be a really good listener and would be really insightful when it comes to giving advice.
Paxbigfan10@aol.com
I think that i can see myself being friends with scout from the book, to kill a mocking bird. We would be good friends because we like hanging out with guys and we both could pass as guys if we wanted to. We have alot of the same qualitys too
so_blonde_so_bright@hotmail.com
I can see myself being friends with Harry Potter or Neville Longbottom. I love the Harry Potter series and i think i'd get along with them because he's so mysterious and interesting. I cannot bring myself to read anything other than the Harry Potter books! They are so amazingly great, hypnotising even-i can't put it into words, it just transports you to another world which i can't help wishing was my own.
mshorty@sbcglobal.net
I think I would be good friends with Johnny from The Outsiders because we're both sensitive and he would be a really good guy to hang out with. It seems as if you can tell him anything!
KAT7581568@aol.com
I'd have to say Jessica Darling from Sloppy Firsts. She's a very sarcastic person, but behind it all she s just someone hats questioning herself. And she reminds me of myself because of the way she writes. I could relate to her more than any character I've read about.
SpAzTiCFrEaK325@aol.com
i could see myself being friends with Jonas from the book The Giver. mainly because we are both kind of lost in the world around us. not really knowing what to do, and seeing things in a totally different perspective than any other person,
Sng4evr@aol.com
It really depends on what type of book I was in 'cause I would love to be friends w/ alot of different characters for their personalitys and certain qualities. Yet, if I had to pick one I would have to sayTal from The Seventh Tower by Garth Nix because he seems like he would make a really good friend for me 'cause He can be adventureous and level mided as to what he has to do. He seems to know what he wants to do too.
LOTRboy16@aol.com
I think I could see myself as being friends with someone like Ishmael from Moby Dick. He seems to have a general idea of what he believes in, such as his religion, himself, the direction of his life, etc, but he still leaves a little room for doubt. He tends to see things in more than simply the black-and-white, one-way view many people take. For instance, when he spends a night with the cannibal Queequeg, he is scared, but opens up his mind to the possibility of there being a "civil savage." Why, the next day, Ishmael performs a cannibalistic worshipping ceremony with Queequeg.
I see myself in the same light. I have an idea of what I'd like to do in life, who I am, my own beliefs in a higher power, among others, but I like to research other ways of thinking. I try to find out the "what ifs." What if I am wrong? Like Ishmael, I enjoy trying new things, and I like to think I don't always see things for the surface quality they entertain, but for the deeper meaning behind them. I think I am like Ishmael because I can think different.

I can see myself being friends with Leslee, from Bridge to Terabithia. She is so outgoing and different, and I know that she doesn't blend in well with her surroundings. I can also tell that she isn't in a hurry to grow up. I would definitely want to be friends with Leslee.
DivePotter@aol.com
I see myself being friends with Frankie McCourt in Angela's Ashes because his father reminds me of my brother, and I think we could relate.
rave_gurl20@hotmail.com
I think I would be best friends with Princess Mia in the Princess Diaires Seris by Meg Cabot because she is easy going, funny, felt she did not fit in all the time because she was unique and soe people did not like that and also because she knows what she wants and goes for it. I am all of those things and so that is why I think I would be best friends with her. Not because she is a princess but because we realte to each other kind of (except the Princess part). Well thast my answer.
